Jan Rouven and Anthony Cools Kicked the weekend off with an out-of-this-world keg tapping on October 15 and 16. On October 17, Vegas’ most talented tribute artists from Legends in Concert celebrated by getting everyone on their feet and dancing on the benches.

Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas Oktoberfest offered guests endless Bavarian fun, food and, of course, Oktoberfestbier imported from Munich, Germany. The fun continued with stein-holding competitions, spankings, dancing on the benches, the taste of fresh-roasted almonds and pecans and traditional live Bavarian music. Attend The "Barnyard In The Boneyard" Event To Benefit Horses4Heroes!

On Saturday, Oct. 31, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Neon Museum will partner with Horses4Heroes to host “Barnyard in the Boneyard” in its North Gallery. Sponsored by American Fence Company and Current Events, Horses4Heroes will provide a petting zoo for families and children. The cost to attend this one-of-a-kind event is $5 per person for adults and children ages 2 and older; tickets may be purchased at the door. All attendees are invited to don Halloween costumes if they wish.

Horses4Heroes will bring their miniature horses and a variety of goats to Barnyard in the Boneyard.

Founded in 2006, Las Vegas-based Horses4Heroes operates the Horses4Heroes Community Equestrian Center, now open at Floyd Lamb Park.  Horses4Heroes is the only national non-profit that owns its own horses and uses those horses to serve local service members, veterans, First Responders and their families through low-cost activities, including lessons, camps, field trips and birthday parties. The organization offers free life skills workshops for veterans with PTS/MST/TBI, recovering addicts and victims of domestic abuse and violence.

Proceeds from Barnyard in the Boneyard will benefit both the Neon Museum and Horses4Heroes.

Haunted Shark Reef Has Community Day Coming Up

Rattling chains, haunting music and fearsome predators return for the annual Haunted Reef at Shark Reef Aquarium inside Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino with decorations, pumpkins, costumes and trick-or-treating.

Community Day is Friday, Oct. 30, when children 12 and under who visit the aquarium in their Halloween costumes will receive complimentary admission and sweet treats.

United Blood Services will be on site during Community Day for visitors interested in donating blood. Guests 17 and older who give blood will receive complimentary admission. American professional mixed martial arts fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson hosted the King of the Cage  (KOTC) 2015 Official After Party at LAX Nightclub, along with cage girls including Amanda Sandoval, Natalie Sesko, Alejandra Salazar, Jesselee Maleport, Apple Bratt and Laryssa Bowden.

Rampage Jackson, who rose to prominence competing in Japan’s PRIDE Fighting Championships, has a professional record of 31 wins and eight losses and is constantly ranked by Sherdog as one of the top three light heavyweights in the world. He arrived with his group at LAX around 11:30 pm and soaked in the nightlife scene until approximately 3 a.m., occasionally taking photos with fans in GA and table sections.

KOTC champion Daniel Madrid also showed up to relax after his TKO that evening against Daniel Hernandez.

The lively crowd danced the night away to the beats of DJ CyberKid and DJ Direct.

Love The 80's? Back To The Future II Party! At The Plaza On 10/21

The Plaza Hotel & Casino, which served as the backdrop for Biff Tannen’s Pleasure Paradise Casino & Hotel in the 1980s blockbuster movie “Back to the Future II,” travels back to the ‘80s on Wed., Oct 21 to host a special Back to the Future party from 6 to 11 p.m. at Beer Garden.  The party marks and celebrates the famed arrival date of Marty McFly and Doc Brown in the beginning of the movie.

As part of the celebration, guests can take their picture under the Plaza’s iconic dome next to a collection of DeLoreans, including replicas of Doc Brown’s truck and the Libyan Volkswagen bus. A replica DeLorean time machine will also be on display. “Marty McFly,” “Biff Tannen” and “Doc Brown” will also be on hand for photos with guests.

The Back to the Future Party at Beer Garden includes drink specials such as Biff’s Root Beer Beer Float and Doc’s Wake Up Juice (a Basil Hayden Bloody Mary) from 6 to 11 p.m. as well as a special costume party and contest starting at 8 p.m. Guests can come dressed in their best ‘80s outfits, and judging for the best costume occurs at 9 p.m. The guest with the best costume wins $500.

That day, much of the property will be transformed to embody the 1980s and the “Back to the Future” movies. Guests will enjoy popular ‘80s music all day long, and M3 Trio, a local ‘80s cover band will perform from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. in the Plaza’s Omaha Lounge on the casino floor. Also on the casino floor, the Plaza’s Party Pit Girls will be dressed in ‘80s outfits, and themed $10 match play coupons will be given to the first 250 guests who purchase a drink at Beer Garden or at the bar setup under the dome by the DeLoreans on display.
