Seattle Seahawks’ running back, Marshawn ‘Beast Mode’ Lynch, partied at Foxtail® Nightclub inside SLS Las Vegas on Feb.2nd. ‘Beast Mode’ was joined by his cousins for a boys’ night out on The Strip, arriving to the venue around 2 a.m. The crew hung out at the bar for most of the evening, and Lynch enjoyed his usual Hennessy on-the-rocks throughout the night, unwinding into the early morning hours following Sunday’s big game.

Legendary Songstress Rita Coolidge Will Perform Valentine Show!

Recording artist, songwriter and two-time Grammy Award winner Rita Coolidge will set a romantic tone at her Valentine’s show, “Rita Coolidge: A Special Valentine Evening,” at the Suncoast Showroom February 14 and 15.

Coolidge began her career as a backing vocalist in Memphis in the 1960’s. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to Los Angeles and became the first-call backup singer for performers like Ray Charles, Jackie Wilson and The Temptations.

After establishing her dominance as a backing vocalist, Coolidge was asked to join the ensemble band Delaney and Bonnie, and toured with Joe Cocker and Leon Russell on the “Mad Dogs and Englishmen” tour in 1970. Coolidge would go on to work with high profile rock artists including tours and recordings with Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Leon Russell and Stephen Stills.

Coolidge began her solo career with her self-titled debut album in 1971. Since then, she has released 15 albums and charted several hit songs, including  “Fever,” “We’re All Alone,” “One Fine Day,” “(Your Love Has Lifted Me) Higher & Higher,” “The Way You Do The Things You Do,” “All Time High” and “Superstar.”

Coolidge has appeared in numerous movies, including “A Star Is Born” alongside Barbara Streisand, “Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid,” “Vanishing Point” and “Christmas in the Clouds.”

It was a celebrity filled Saturday night at LAVO, TAO and Marquee in Las Vegas.

Pamela Anderson was spotted enjoying tomato basil pasta at LAVO with a group of friends while at a nearby table Wilmer Valderrama and Demi Lovato and another couple dined on steaks and pasta.

Fabolous made his way to TAO after watching the UFC fight on TV and stopping to shop at Barneys.  He dined at the Asian Bistro before heading up to the nightclub where he performed a medley of his hits.

Also spotted dining at TAO were Adrienne Bailon and Tamar Braxton. The pop stars said hello to Fabolous before making their way to the club to catch his performance.

Marcus Cromartie of the San Francisco 49ers checked out TAO Nightclub’s Opium room, while Charles Johnson of the Carolina Panthers was spotted with friends at a VIP table in the main room.

At Marquee, Wyclef wowed the crowd with an energetic performance that had him leaping over the DJ booth and showing off his handstand and backwards guitar playing skills.  A selection of hits, plus a cover of Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit had the entire club jumping around.

February Is National Heart Month! The Fountain At Miracle Mile Will Help Celebrate!

In honor of American Heart Month, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will go red in support of the American Heart Association and their Go Red For Women movement in Las Vegas. As part of the center’s Caring, Giving, Changing community campaign, all change tossed in the red fountain will benefit the local chapter of the oldest and largest organization dedicated to fighting cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

Through Feb. 28, the fountain will display a red hue in between regularly scheduled water shows. Coins tossed into the popular water feature and the center’s indoor rainstorm will be donated to the American Heart Association in Las Vegas, which improves lives through various public health education programs and trainings. Regularly scheduled water shows take place at the top of every hour from noon to 11 p.m.
