Indie Bands Fitz & The Tantrums Receive Coveted Display Case At HRH!
Frontman
Fitzpatrick acknowledged the crowd and the property stating “Thank you so much
for coming out and a special thanks to the Hard Rock for doing this, this is kind
of a big dream come true for all of us.”
The
display features Fitzpatrick’s trademark leather jacket and striped shirt,
Scaggs’ leather jacket, Yamaha bass guitar, Panther keyboard, DW kick drum with
signed drumheads and drumsticks, percussion instruments, assorted t-shirts and
posters, a menu from the 101 Coffee Shop and a neon heart from the More Than
Just a Dream album cover.
After
posing for pictures in front of the display, memorabilia curator Beau Dobney
opened the case and retrieved a Yamaha guitar for each band member to sign to
help commemorate the experience. Then Scaggs and her fellow band members posed
for photos with fans.
Fitz
and The Tantrums’ debut album, Pickin’ Up the Pieces, received critical acclaim
and reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. Rolling Stone deemed them a
“band to watch.” Their follow up album, More Than Just a Dream, featured the
hit singles “Out of My League,” and “The Walker" which both landed the No.
1 spot on Billboard's Alternative chart.

Playboy’s
sexiest playmates celebrated the launch of Sugar Factory’s Playboy candy
collection at the Playboy Mansion’s Annual Halloween Bash at The Playboy
Mansion in Beverly Hills Saturday night.
Several
of Playboy’s finest including former Playmate of the Year, Raquel Pomplun,
Irina Voronina, and Nikki Leigh gushed over the renowned candy shop’s novelty
line of Playboy confections, including Playboy Couture Pops, Playboy Bunny
gummies, and playful candy bra’s and garters. The models posed with the
signature black and pink couture pops while indulging in assorted Playboy
gummies at the iconic Hollywood party.

Prior
to leaving, guests were given swag bags filled with Sugar Factory’s sexy candy
collection.

These Kegs Keep Getting TAPPED! Ricardo Laguna & The Australian Bee Gees!
Last
Friday, the Australian Bee Gees performed three songs following the
tapping. The crowd was dancing in the
aisles and quickly lined up for pictures with the group following the
performance.
On
Saturday, BMX pro Ricardo Laguna entered the beer hall on his bike doing a
wheelie. Before he passed back to begin the procession, he performed some
tricks for the crowd, wearing lederhosen.

Family In Las Vegas Receives New House From Habitat For Humanity!
Oct.
24, 2014 marked a momentous occasion for a family of three as Candis Smith and
Curtis Flanagan received the keys to their new Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas
home in North Las Vegas. Habitat Las Vegas Chairman Mike Borden, kicked off the
ceremony with his opening remarks thanking all of the volunteers who helped make
the dream of home ownership a reality for this family. The home was sponsored
in part by Lowe’s, and was completed by 277 volunteers who put in more than
1,900 volunteer hours to help build the home. Curtis and Candis also
contributed 300 volunteer hours of “sweat equity” as part of the home ownership
program. Additionally, today was a special day as Curtis celebrated his
birthday with close family and friends who came out to support. Thank you to
Cupkates by Kate for providing the family with a delectable birthday cupcake
cake layered with delicious frosting to celebrate the occasion.

for Humanity Las Vegas has served 97 families in Southern Nevada for more than
23 years and is committed to strengthening the community in which we live by
building simple, decent, affordable homes for hard working, low-income
individuals in Southern Nevada.

Artist Graham Knuttel Unveils Latest Painting

Master
artist Graham Knuttel was joined by the Las Vegas Philharmonic’s Music Director
Donato Cabrera to unveil a painting of Cabrera and the orchestra at The Smith
Center. The Knuttel Gallery held a special reception that welcomed members of
the Las Vegas Philharmonic including President and CEO Jeri Crawford, Vice
President of Marketing, Pat Fink, and a number of their supporters, along with
Honorary Consul to Ireland for the State of Nevada, Terry Murphy, among others.
Guests enjoyed Italian dishes by Canaletto and a beautiful assortment of sweet
treats provided courtesy of Gimme Some Sugar Bake Shoppe.
Limited
edition prints of the piece are available for sale with a portion of the
proceeds being donated to the Las Vegas Philharmonic. For more information,

October 24, 2014, attracting tens of thousands of people to explore the
15-block music, food, art and learning event.
Highlights
of Day One were:
· Kanye West performing to an uproarious
crowd, which included his A-list wife – and birthday girl - Kim Kardashian, her mother Kris Jenner and
sister Khloe.

· The Weeknd performed at his first
festival in more than two years and serenaded the crowd with a sexy rendition
of Beyonce’s hit single, “Drunk in Love.”

· An energetic crowd danced to the
masterful musical mashups of Girl Talk, who ended his set with an explosion of
confetti.
· Hometown artists Jenny Lewis and
Panic! At The Disco returned to Las Vegas for performances on the Western and
the Ambassador stages, respectively.

· Punk rock political activists Pussy
Riot spoke to an overflowing audience inside The Western Hotel, where they
discussed finding laughter in even the most dire of situations.
· Duff Goldman added some spark to his
banana fosters demo during Chefs on Stage, adding Grand Marnier, Vegas Rum and
Everclear to light the pan on fire under the Vegas desert sky.
· Artists and festival guests indulged
in a 130-lb. tuna hand sliced by Blue Ribbon Sushi Chef Toshi Ueki and enjoyed
by Chefs Bruce and Eric Bromberg, Jonathan Waxman, Marc Forgione and José
Andrés, who fed each other the delicacy.
· During his Chefs on Stage
demonstration, Jet Tila used his smartphone to record a special message with
his audience for his Cutthroat Kitchen co-star, “Hi Alton Brown, we love you.
From, Life is Beautiful.”
· Rumored to be in attendance were DJ
Steve Aoki and boxer Floyd Mayweather (in separate parties).

A Kardashian Birthday In Vegas At TAO!

Kim
Kardashian West celebrated her 34th birthday at TAO Las Vegas on Friday along
with friends, family and husband Kanye West. The entire group, which included
Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Malika and Khadijah Haqq, Robin Antin, Jonathan
Cheban and Simon Huck took in Kanye's performance at the Life Is Beautiful
music festival in downtown Las Vegas before heading to the birthday celebration.
Kim arrived on the red carpet looking stunning in a plunging white Alexandre
Vauthier dress, paired with Givenchy shoes. While on the red carpet, Kim was
surprised by the massive group of fans that had gathered as they sang
"Happy Birthday" to her. Khloe interacted with the fans as Kim walked
the red carpet and Kanye signed a copy of the couple's cover of Vogue magazine.

The
entire group then made their way upstairs into TAO Nightclub where they were
met with the screams of the crowd as well as a shower of confetti and
illuminated signs spelling out the birthday girl's name waiting at their VIP
table on the dance floor. Also waiting at their VIP table and dispersed
throughout the packed house were paper fans featuring Kim's face as it is seen
in her wildly successful app game "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood." The
celebrations quickly kicked off as Kim was surprised with a special birthday
presentation featuring TAO's mirror man along with a custom four-tier cake from
Gimme Some Sugar as her husband's song "Bound 2" rang out. DJ Eric
D-Lux kept the party going, dropping several of Kanye's hits to which Kim and
sister Khloe sang along and danced to.
Also
spotted at TAO was LA Dodgers’ Matt Kemp, who came over to Kim’s table at one
point to say hello to the family.
Earlier
that evening, Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner dined at TAO Asian Bistro with
friends. From the restaurant’s private dining room the group enjoyed signature
dishes including satay of Chilean sea bass, Yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño,
peking duck and spicy tuna tartare on crispy rice.
