Kevin Hart himself, got the party going when he took the stage with Knowles and thanked fans for attending two sold-out shows earlier that evening. Other notable celebrities were Terrence J from “E! Voice Like An Angel! Kristen Hertzenberg Brings You Spellbound At The Smith Center

She dazzled musical-goers as Christine in Phantom—The Las Vegas Spectacular. She delighted listeners with pianist Philip Fortenberry on her 2011 album Holidays from the Heart. She charmed critics like Las Vegas Sun columnist John Katsilometes, who called her “a graceful performer whose voice is at once lilting and limitless,” and Desert Companion magazine, which named her Best Torch Singer earlier this year. Now Kristen Hertzenberg returns to Cabaret Jazz at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts on September 27 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Backed by an eight-piece band, Hertzenberg unveils Spellbound, a love-haunted set of blues, rock, jazz, folk, and country.

In Spellbound, Hertzenberg takes the audience on a journey, weaving diverse songs into a rich, lyrically driven narrative of obsession and longing. Indeed, Hertzenberg’s newest show marks another compelling turn by the Texas-born singer who grew up listening to hip-hop before going on to earn a master’s in Opera Performance at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Spellbound is a show that displays the depth of her astonishing talent. It’s a love letter addressed to anyone who enjoys diverse music rendered with elegance, precision, and affection—every note sealed with a fervent kiss.

Hertzenberg always surrounds herself with Las Vegas’ finest performers. Her stellar band includes Martin Kaye, an award-winning British singer/songwriter and piano man who currently stars as Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet at Harrah’s, who recently released his second album, and whom Vegas Seven magazine named Best Actor in their 2013 Best of the City issue. Also in the band is Benjamin D. Hale, currently portraying Johnny Cash in Million Dollar Quartet after a six-year run in Phantom. Hale just released his debut album with his own country/blues/rock band, the Crimson Balladeers. Other band members include George Bryant on drums, Joel Ferguson on pedal steel, Steve Flora on bass, Pablo Gadda on guitar, and vocalists Lisa Davis and Jolana Sampson.

Ladies will get the opportunity of a lifetime with the chance to compete at the Miss Nevada USA pageant, the official preliminary competition to the Miss USA pageant, owned by Donald Trump and broadcasted live on NBC. Recently, Miss Nevada USA 2014 Nia Sanchez brought nationwide attention to the Miss Nevada USA organization as the first Nevada titleholder to capture the Miss USA crown.

Prospective contestants will compete in a runway walking competition at the lavish club, and Miss Chateau USA will be chosen by a panel of judges for her beauty, poise and personality. In addition to representing the nightclub at the Miss Nevada USA pageant, the winner of Miss Chateau USA will get her entry fee to Miss Nevada USA pageant sponsored by Chateau, a value of $799.

Watch Tiesto's Music Set For The Bellagio Water Fountains!

  On Wednesday, September 17, the beat dropped and water soared when world-renowned DJ/producer Tiësto brought the iconic Fountains of Bellagio to life with a never-before-heard medley of three songs off his new album, A Town Called Paradise. “Footprints,” “Rocky” and “Red Lights” serve as the soundtrack to the newest show choreographed by WET, the original fountain creators.

“Las Vegas is like my second home and I’m excited to leave a permanent mark on the city I love,” said Tiësto. “The Fountains of Bellagio bring my songs to life in a new and dynamic way that I can’t wait for my fans to experience.”

The medley is the first compilation created specifically for the Fountains of Bellagio and the only show set to electronic dance music. This is also the first time a composer has collaborated with WET on show choreography for the Bellagio Fountains.

Randy Morton, President and COO of Bellagio, said, “We’re thrilled to have Tiësto contribute his talent to our very special Fountains. The collaboration of these two Las Vegas icons will introduce Bellagio to an entirely new audience.”

The show was taken from inception to completion by Peter Kopik, Executive Designer & Director of Choreography at WET, with Tiësto and Kopik spending time at the company’s California studio as well as on site programming at Bellagio. The mix includes elements exclusively added for the Fountains show and is a spectacle that will appeal to all.

Kopik said, “It was a new challenge to translate Tiësto’s fast-paced beats in to Fountain choreography. Instead of starting off slow as the other shows do, this performance begins with an explosive burst from the Fountains, bringing a new energy to the show.”

The Fountains of Bellagio is complimentary with daily performances that rotate more than 30 songs.  The schedule is:

Saturday and holidays, noon – 8 p.m.
