Top Vegas Mixologists Take Talents To New Orleans For 5 Day Festival!

Some
of the world’s top mixologists are based in Las Vegas and more than a dozen of
the city’s finest will take the cocktail stage at Masquerade Nightclub inside
Harrah’s in New Orleans for “Las Vegas Invades Tales of the Cocktail” hosted by
Back Bar USA on Thursday, July 17, from 5 to 8 p.m.
The
evening is part of the 12th Annual Tales of the Cocktail®, a five-day festival
held from Wednesday, July 16 to Sunday, July 20 featuring a jam-packed schedule
of industry seminars, dinners, competitions, tasting rooms, product launches
and more.
“Las
Vegas Invades Tales of the Cocktail” will showcase more than a dozen of Las
Vegas’ top mixologists and bartenders, including “Modern Mixologist” author and
industry veteran, Tony Abou-Ganim; the creator of countless cocktails for many
of Las Vegas’ best-known entities, Francesco LaFranconi of Southern Wine &
Spirits; and Mariena Mercer, property mixologist of The Cosmopolitan of Las
Vegas, one of Las Vegas’ most stylish resorts. The event will bring the spirit
of Las Vegas to New Orleans through Rat Pack-style entertainment, showgirls and
more.

Tuennermen
founded Tales of the Cocktail® as a celebration of cocktails in 2002, and in

the cancelation of the Jesus Christ Superstar Arena Spectacular North American
tour which included the Friday, July 25 engagement at the Mandalay Bay Events
Center.

Honey Salt Restaurant Introduces "Summer Of Love" To Benefit Charitable Organizations!

summer. Beginning Monday, June 16, 2014 the restaurant will open its doors to
the world and introduce the Summer of Love.
Running
through August 22, 2014, the community focused program will raise funds for a
variety of valley charities throughout the summer. Each week Honey Salt and its

Grammy Award Winner Rita Coolidge Coming To The Suncoast!
Two-time
Grammy® Award winner Rita Coolidge will perform many of her top hits at the
Suncoast Showroom June 21 and 22.
Coolidge
began her career as a backing vocalist in Memphis in the 1960s. Shortly
thereafter, she relocated to Los Angeles and became the first call background
singer for performers like Ray Charles, Jackie Wilson and The Temptations.
After establishing her dominance as a backing vocalist, Coolidge was asked to
join the ensemble band Delaney and Bonnie, and toured with Joe Cocker and Leon
Russell on the “Mad Dogs and Englishmen” tour in 1970. Following, Coolidge
worked with high profile rock artists, including tours and recordings with Eric
Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Leon Russell and Stephen Stills.
Later,
Coolidge began her solo career with her self-titled debut album in 1971. Since
then, she has released 15 albums and charted several hit songs, including “Fever,” “We’re All Alone,” “One Fine Day,”
“(Your Love Has Lifted Me) Higher & Higher,” “The Way You Do The Things You
Do,” “All Time High” and “Superstar.”
Coolidge
has appeared in numerous movies, including “A Star Is Born,” “Pat Garrett &
Billy the Kid,” “Vanishing Point” and “Christmas in the Clouds.”
