The
Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino will host its fifth annual spring wine event,
Wine Revolution North America vs. South America April 12-14. This three day
wine festival brings together consumers, winemakers and winery owners with
poolside receptions, wine tastings, silent and live wine auctions and more.
Friday,
April 12
*Wines
from Two Hemispheres: A Golden Nugget Las Vegas Signature Wine Dinner , will
allow guests to experience dinner under the stars with Winemaker Bob Pepi and
the culinary vision of Chef Alex Irlandes. This unique event features
Argentinean superstar winery Valentin Bianchi and California boutique wineries
Two Angels, Eponymous and Angels Secret. Guests will enjoy epicurean delights
exquisitely paired with incredible wines while being serenaded by the native
beats of Argentina. The dining experience begins at 7 p.m. on the Tank pool
deck.
Reservations
can be made for $95 and include admission to the Poolside Champagne & Wine
Kick-off Reception at H2O poolside bar*.
The
Poolside Champagne and Wine reception will kick off at 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. and
guests will have the opportunity to mingle with winemakers, owners and fellow
wine enthusiasts while listening to smooth jazz at the property’s H2O bar.

Saturday,
April 13
Vic
& Anthony’s Steakhouse welcomes guests to experience an *Introduction To
South American Wines. Join Master Sommelier Larry Stone as he guides a
delicious exploratory tasting and discovery of 12 wines. The introduction
begins at noon and tickets are $35 per person.
Master
Sommelier Larry Stone, Winemaker Bob Pepi and Winery owner, George Daou will
take you on a journey of comparison with *A Cabernet Contrast: North vs. South
America at 2:30 p.m. inside Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse. Wine enthusiasts
are invited to explore the intricate relationship between Cabernet from both
hemispheres, featuring a total of 12 Cabernets from Chile, Argentina and
California. Tickets for the tasting are $45 per person.
Tickets
can be purchased for both exciting seminars on Saturday, April 13 located inside Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse for
$75.
The
Grand Tasting, with a showdown between 120 wine selections from California,
Chile and Argentina, will be held in The Grand from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. and guests
will be able to cast their votes for the best wines and regions. These amazing
wines will be paired with chef appetizers, live music, barrel tastings and a
few surprises. Tickets to this event can be purchased individually for $100*.
Sunday,
April 14
Rounding
out the third day of signature events, is the Champagne and Jazz Brunch on
Sunday, April 14, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Grand. Guests will enjoy live
jazz alongside exquisite brunch offerings including made-to-order crepes,
bloody mary bar and a selection of sparkling wines. Brunch will be followed by
a live auction featuring wine lots, large format collector’s bottles and more.
Tickets to the brunch and auction can be purchased individually for $100*.
Guests
can end the weekend by relaxing in a cabana at the Golden Nugget’s Hideout pool
and “Wine Down with the Winemakers” as they enjoy a glass or two of North and
South America’s best wines. Tickets can be purchased individually for $25*.
The
fun-filled signature events, which include Poolside Champagne & Wine
Kick-Off Reception, Wine Revolution Grand Tasting, Champagne & Jazz Brunch
with Live Auction and “Wine” Down With The Wine Makers, will feature hundreds
of wines from North and South America. Regularly priced at $260*, guests who book
in advance can lock in the discounted ticket price of $199* for all four
