Drinking & Tweeting In Vegas Brandi Style! The Party Was At LAVO!

Friday night at LAVO in Las Vegas, Brandi Glanville celebrated the release of her new book Drinking and Tweeting and Other Brandi Blunders, which was just named a New York Times bestseller.  Wearing a pink dress from her new Brand B clothing line on the red carpet, she shared that she is already in the early stages of planning her second book and that while she is still contemplating topics, it may be about dating over 40 in this new digital age, confiding that she just broke up with two boys – “one east coaster and one west coaster”.   Glanville confirmed that when she finishes promoting this first book she plans to stop speaking about her ex-husband’s affair, but admitted, “I’m sure there is more scandal I can get myself into down the road”.

Joined by her co-author Leslie Bruce and two girlfriends, the group toasted the success of the book while dining on LAVO signature dishes and sipping rose.  Throughout dinner several well wishers stopped by the table to declare they were “Team Brandi”.

After dinner the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star headed upstairs to the nightclub, where she was surprised by a huge cake depicting her new book with the arms and legs of a man looking like ex-husband Eddie Cibrian squashed underneath.  Glanville laughed at the confectionary creation and even took a few bites out of it to the thrill of the crowd.

Also spotted at LAVO Friday night was Ray Rice of the Superbowl Champion Baltimore Ravens.  The running back and a group of guys feasted on steaks and spaghetti and meatballs, while a fan sent over a celebratory shot of tequila.  After dinner they made their way to a VIP table on the dance floor in the nightclub and celebrated the birthday of one of the friends in the group.

Theophilus London dined at the Italian eatery as well.  Joined by friends the rapper, who turned 26 at midnight, then headed upstairs to the nightclub where he was treated to a birthday celebration.

Leona Lewis Has Fun With BF's In VEGAS At Hyde!

Saturday night, British singer-songwriter Leona Lewis partied at Hyde Bellagio in Las Vegas. Wearing a chic black dress, Lewis and a close group of girlfriends arrived at the sleek hot spot just after midnight. The group enjoyed dancing and sipping champagne at a plush VIP booth while the Fountains of Bellagio danced in the background. Later in the night, the songstress tweeted “Having an amazing time @HydeBellagio with my girls! Thank you so much @miod for setting us up @sbecollection style!”

The friends continued the party into the early morning hours to the beats of DJ D-Miles.

Coming! Master Of The House Competition With Participation From The Rudy Foundation

The Rudy Foundation is proud to announce the participation of the Las Vegas Valley’s top performing arts programs in its first ever Master of the House competition. Kicking off its inaugural year, the event brings together the most talented youth in the “entertainment capital of the world” for a performance showcase, in which musical theater groups will compete for scholarship funds to support their programs and the chance to have football legend Rudy Ruettiger speak at their school.

Hosted by Maggie Wheeler, best known for her role as “Janice” on the #1 hit television series, Friends, the Saturday, April 6th competition will also allow students to participate in a master class workshop with their celebrity emcee, Sunday, April 7th.

“We are so thrilled to have so many phenomenal theater programs participating in our first ever Master of the House competition,” said Cheryl Ruettiger, founder and executive director of the Rudy Foundation. “The competing schools are the perfect reflection of why Las Vegas is called the ‘entertainment capital of the world.’ Las Vegas youth have an infinite amount of talent and this event is the perfect showcase of just how extraordinary they are.”

Confirmed musical theater programs include, Las Vegas Academy, Coronado High School, Sign Design Theatre Company, Broadway Bound, and the proud host school Faith Lutheran Middle School and High School.

Master of the House is part of the Rudy Foundation’s 2013 performing arts initiative, designed to provide support, awareness and funding for various youth performing arts programs throughout Las Vegas.

  

“My ultimate goal for this year’s performing arts initiative is to raise the funds and awareness to establish a true community center for performing arts in Las Vegas, where local theater groups can rent space for a reasonable fee and communities and families can attend affordably and experience life changing and inspiring productions,” said Ruettiger.

  

To help support its 2013 performing arts initiative, the Rudy Foundation has also announced the upcoming production, L.O.V.E. – A Cabaret, an afternoon of music by Las Vegas community performers that takes audiences on a journey through relationships. Wednesday evening (February 20), GRAMMY Award-winner and BRIT Awards nominee Calvin Harris played host and DJ for a star-studded private after party following the BRIT Awards, which was held at Hakkasan Hanway Place in London. In a room filled with his celebrity friends, Harris announced that he will be launching a new and exclusive DJ residency at Hakkasan Las Vegas, which is set to open this April at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. The highly acclaimed DJ will debut his residency at the nightclub beginning in April, and is set to perform 46 dates. The famous London eatery, traditionally known as one of the most in-demand restaurants in town, transformed the venue specifically for Harris in celebration of his new gig in Vegas. During the festivities, the guest of honor played a show-stopping DJ set to his A-list friends. Celebrity guests included Ne-Yo, Will.I.Am, Emeli Sande, Rita Ora, Noel Gallagher, Alexa Chung, Tinie Tempah and many more.
