Ready For Another Party SEASON At WET REPUBLIC

WET REPUBLIC Ultra Pool at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino prepares to reopen its doors Friday, March 22 for another action-packed season following the recent completion of the first phase of a two-year remodel. As part of the resort’s “Grand Renovation,” a 360-degree renovation including guest rooms and suites, casino floor and entertainment venues, among other locations, the Las Vegas pool party destination has transformed to include new amenities and upgrades.

During the off-season, the alluring 53,000-square-foot venue began its exciting enhancements to the daylife experience for poolgoers. The first phase will unveil a newly renovated and expanded DJ booth to include a luxe VIP table directly behind the decks serving as the location for WET REPUBLIC’s world-renowned resident DJs and their guests. Just above the DJ booth guests will find an even more tricked-out LED display boasting enhanced installations and special effects delivering daylife patrons top-tier lighting productions to complement unrivaled sets. Under the 2,500-square-foot open-air lounge sun-kissed beauties can retreat from the desert heat as they refresh themselves with delicious libations at the newly expanded bar; the bar has added an additional 35 feet to the former 60-foot verde marble-topped bar. WET REPUBLIC has, once again, upped the ante by making its Party Cabanas and Bungalows even more luxurious with new furniture and finishes. Adding to the lavish experience, the daytime mecca has enhanced its environment with sculptured horticulture strategically placed around the poolscape. It has also installed lockers for guests to store their belongings while reveling at Vegas’ “it” pool club.

"Storage Wars" Couple Party In Vegas!

LAX Nightclub located inside Luxor Hotel & Casino welcomed reality television’s favorite bargaining couple Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz of the hit A&E series “Storage Wars.” Arriving just before 1 a.m., the loving yet hard-nosed duo made a stop at the Las Vegas hot spot with several of their friends, taking in the sights of the packed dance floor and sounds of resident DJ Gusto.  The highly-favored husband and wife team were in town taking a break from filming an exclusive episode of the modern-day treasure hunter series.

Also spotted at the mega-club was former American professional wrestler and actor Robert Alex 

Szatkowski, better known as World Wrestling Entertainment Champion Rob Van Dam. Accredited as the only wrestler in history to go undefeated at Extreme Championship Wrestling’s (ECW) “November to Remember,” as well as Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling’s “Bound for Glory,” the six foot, 235 lb. fighter entered LAX Nightclub just after midnight, partying with his entourage into the early hours of the morning.

Super Star DG Calvin Harris Will Be Exclusively At New Hotspot Hakkasan LV!

GRAMMY Award-winning Calvin Harris will launch a new and exclusive residency at Hakkasan Las Vegas opening in April at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. The highly acclaimed DJ will debut his residency at the nightclub beginning in April, and is set to perform 46 dates. Additionally, the artist will bring his residency to WET REPUBLIC Ultra Pool creating a daytime experience for fans where they can see the iconic DJ perform for 22 dates.

The Hudson Jeans/Creative Recreation party took place at Marquee Tuesday night.  DJs A-Trak, Vice, Mike Attack, Lisa Pittman and Yaya, entertained the crowd as the brand took over the club.
