The Palms Latest Newest Restaurant Heraea Welcomes Celebs!


Heraea, the new high-energy restaurant and sports lounge with a feminine twist by the ONE Group at Palms Casino Resort, opened for a sneak preview on Sunday, February 3, and welcomed its first celebrity guests.

International super model Selita Ebanks enjoyed the big game with a selection of Heraea’s signature bites, and Taylor Dane got the crowd going by singing her club hit “Tell it to My Heart.” A crowd of NFL stars came to cheer on the competition during the football league’s championship game. Notable players included Greg Little of the Cleveland Browns, Michael Bush and Lance Briggs of the Chicago Bears, James Johnson of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jalil Brown of the Kansas City Chiefs, Brandon Bostick of the Green Bay Packers and former San Francisco 49er, Rock Cartwright. Also attending were former players Keith Bulluck and Kelvin Smith.

The Pacific Street Car Association and its exciting brand of heads-up, 240-mile-per-hour doorslammer drag racing will open The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s 2013 season this weekend. Eliminations for PSCA Pro Street will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Also included is testing for NHRA professional-category teams.

1-5 p.m. – Trailer drop-off, pit parking (no overnight camping allowed this day).
Friday, Feb. 8
10 a.m.-6 p.m. – Gates and credential sales open, pit parking.

Weekend crew pass (14 and older) –       $45 (restricted-area access).

The LVMS ticket office will sell spectator tickets for admission on Saturday and Sunday only.  Anyone wanting access to the facility on Friday must purchase a weekend crew credential.

Miss August 2008, Kayla Collins, kicked off "Big Game" Weekend with hundreds of revelers at Crazy Horse III on Saturday night.

The brunette bombshell scored a touchdown with fans when she arrived on the red carpet looking stunning in high-waisted navy blue jeans and an indigo and black polka dot crop top paired with black sky-high stilettos. Collins, a football fan, mentioned she wanted the San Francisco 49ers to win Sunday's game because "she's a California girl."

Wine Revolution Event Coming Up At The Golden Nugget!


The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino will host its fifth annual spring wine event, with the Wine Revolution North America vs. South America April 12-14. This three day wine festival brings together consumers, winemakers and winery owners with poolside receptions, wine tastings, silent and live wine auctions and more.

The fun-filled signature events will feature hundreds of wines from North and South America. Regularly priced at $260*, guests who book in advance can lock in the discounted ticket price of $199* for all four events. Each event can also be purchased separately.

The tastings kick off Friday, April 12, with a Poolside Champagne and Wine reception from

Chris Kennedy made his second appearance at the club on Friday, Feb. 1. The actor and artist had the crowd moving and grooving to his crazy beats. Following, Tom Linder of Detroit Techno Militia took the stage for afterhours and turned up the noise with his electronic mixes as the crowd dance the night away.

The next night, popular Italian house DJ Stefano Noferini posed for pictures and then hit the DJ booth. The artist spun an array of genres, which had the guests begging for more as they sipped on drinks, mingled and moved to the music into the early morning hours.

Notorious DJ, producer and founder of Stones Throw Records Peanut Butter Wolf joined fans at Body English for an amazing night following the big game on Sunday, Feb. 3.
