That was in 1971...before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc. Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.

All future funds flow into the Social Security system,and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term's, then go home and back to work.

If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S.) to receive the message. Maybe it is time.

Day of the Dead at Hussong's Cantina!! PRIZES for Creepy Painted Skull!!!

Hussong’s Cantina & Taqueria will host creepy cocktails, food specials and the Most Interesting Painted Skull Contest in a weekend-long celebration of Dia de los Muertos. The Day of the Dead holiday is celebrated in Mexico for family and friends to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have passed away.

The Most Interesting Painted Skull contest will take place on Sunday, October 30. Paint supplies and skulls will be provided to contestants looking to win a handful of “deadly” prizes. The first place winner will receive a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon for two, second place will receive a Stratosphere SkyJump pass, and third place will receive a zipline ride with Flightlinez down Fremont Street.

Handsome star & Movie Director Adrian Grenier premieres film & Parties at Chateau!

Handsome actor, Adrian Grenier, hosted a screening of his acclaimed documentary "Teenage Paparazzo" and an intimate Q&A with fans in Chateau Nightclub & Gardens www.chateaunightclublv.com at Paris Las Vegas last night.

During the Q&A, Grenier answered a series of questions and addressed the growing interest in celebrities' personalities through the burgeoning popularity of social media. "When I arrived to my hotel today I tried to take a nap, but the pillow at my hotel was really uncomfortable," said Grenier. "I laid there thinking how if I asked for another pillow that I didn't know how it would be portrayed in media, like 'Adrian Grenier is a diva,' and I just thought f#@! it. I'll Tweet about it and put myself out there." Though, Grenier added, that his management advised him to limit his use of Twitter. "My management likes me to be more mysterious so I can melt into the character." 

His advice to a young filmmaker wanting to know how to succeed in the business? "First you get a television show," he joked, making reference to his role as Vincent Chase on HBO's acclaimed series, "Entourage."

When asked about Paris Hilton, who appears in the film, Grenier said, "I think she's a genious, and that Andy Warhol would have gone apesh@# over her. She is the post-modern queen of tabloid media."

Later, film enthusiasts and fans joined Grenier  for the after-party at Chateau, where he sipped on a Red Bull-Belvedere Vodka and chatted with a close group of friends.

Grenier's gorgeous chestnut hair is growing back into his signature locks after keeping it short in the final season of Entourage. He was dressed casually in a black button-down over a T-shirt, black skinny jeans and green leather tennis shoes.

25 Years old and celebrating in VEGAS! Drake parties & buys 200 shots for fans!

Drake celebrated his 25th birthday at TAO on Saturday night.  The Young Money/Cash Money Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling recording artist and actor was joined by friends, family and fans for the Las Vegas bash presented by MARTINI® Moscato d’Asti.

DJ Franzen manned the decks first, giving way to DJ Future the Prince, a childhood friend Drake personally flew in for the occasion.  Future laid down the beats as Drake and friends took over a group of VIP tables on the dance floor and Drake made his way out to the crowd to greet his fans.  The birthday boy, who stayed on the mic for much of the night, was presented with a cake in the shape of a varsity jacket and had a surprise visit from Birdman, co-founder of Cash Money Records and rapper Mack Maine, who is president of Young Money Entertainment.  While Drake had his own cake, 600 MARTINI Moscato d’Asti infused cake pops were delivered to the crowd.

TAO’s bottle fairy “owl” flew over the dance floor as confetti rained down, delivering a bottle of MARTINI Moscato d’Asti to Drake’s table as club goers partied to some of his biggest hits and Drake thanked her for “risking your life for me”.

The generous star bought 200 shots for the crowd and told them, “I’m celebrating my birthday and want you all to celebrate with me.  Go to the bar and get your shot on me”.  Another table sent over 20 bottles of Champagne, prompting him to say, “I don’t know how I am going to drink all this…guess I will have to share it.”  Share he did as he went on to the dance floor like the pied piper of bubbly, passing out bottles.  Drake was having such a great time he stayed at TAO until 4 am.

The party marks the beginning of what is expected to be an exciting couple of months for Drake, with the release of his highly-anticipated sophomore album, Take Care, on November 15.
