Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina in Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is calling all fight fans for a UFC 136: Edgar vs. Maynard III viewing party. The rocking cantina will transform into fight central as the American fighters bout to the finish on Saturday, Oct. 8.

Admission is $20 and includes access to Cabo Wabo’s viewing party where UFC enthusiasts can enjoy the main fight, along with the Featherweight Championship bout between Jose Aldo and Kenny Florian and all other main card matches. Shown on multiple high-definition television screens throughout the restaurant and bar, including a large digital projector screen, guests can watch the fights while enjoying killer margaritas and tasty Mexican fare.

The Iheartradio concert roared into Las Vegas this past week-end. Two full nights of music by some of the industry's biggest and shiniest stars. Day two saw Ryan Seacrest, Etty Lau and Perry Farrell and Joe Jonas and fan fave Nicki Minaj in a frothy lavender dress with a crystal bodice posing for fans on the red carpet. Steven Tyler stopped for several playful poses! Oh Dawg..Randy Jackson turned it up a notch in a "colorful" ensemble!

Zombie Night coming to Las Vegas! Apocalypse!

 It's not quite Halloween time yet and it's definitely not Christmas, but any time is always a good time for Santa Zombie. With that in mind, PollyGrind.com and Pacific Entertainment are celebrating the DVD release of Sean Cain's Silent Night Zombie Night with a Las Vegas screening at theatre7 (1406 South 3rd Street, Las Vegas, NV 89104) on October 1.

The screening will feature three films from Pacific Entertainment's new horror slate. Along with Silent Night Zombie Night, will be Ryan Thompson's Zombie Apocalypse: Redemption and Jon Springer's The Hagstone Demon.

"There ain't nothing better to kick off October than watching a trio of kick ass horror films at Las Vegas' premiere indie destination," Cain said. "It should be a lot fun and help get everyone in the mood for Halloween, as well as

PollyGrind."

 

Silent Night Zombie Night hits DVD shelves October 4. The PollyGrind Film Festival officially kicks off on October 7. The second-year underground event will showcase more than 100 films, including Cain's latest film Breath of Hate

on October 15.

 

Written, produced and directed by Cain, Silent Night Zombie Night stars Jack Forcinito, Andy Hopper, Nadine Stenovitch, Lew Temple (The Devil’s Rejects), Vernon Wells (The Road Warrior) and Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp). 

 

The not-so typical zombie film chronicles a viral outbreak the week before Christmas that turns the citizens of Los Angeles into the walking dead. 

 

On the brink of severing ties with both his wife and longtime partner, L.A.P.D. officer Frank Talbot (Forcinito) finds himself trapped with them. As death closes in, their survival is further threatened by the fact that both men love

the same woman.

Cain will be in attendance at the screening and is bringing giveaways with him.

 

Following a Q&A on his film, the fun continues with Zombie Apocalypse: Redemption, which stars blaxploitation legend Fred Williamson, and The Hagstone Demon, which stars Mark Borchardt of American Movie fame. The admission for all three films is $7.

 

Located near the "Downtown Las Vegas" sign, theatre7 opened its doors in March. The artlover's and indie film fan's paradise is owned by filmmaker Derek Stonebarger, programmed by filmmaker Chad Clinton Freeman, screens independent films, doubles as an art gallery and hosts live theatre performances. 

 

The venue has already held screenings for Neon Reverb, CineKink and Viscera, but PollyGrind will be theatre7's first festival programmed in house. The Vegas Independent Film Festival will follow in November.

Saturday night, the stars collided at XS Nightclub in Las Vegas where will.i.am was headlining in the DJ booth. Rob Kardashian and his Dancing with the Stars partner Cheryl Burke were the first to arrive to the evening festivities, practicing their new moves in an exclusive VIP table raised above the dance floor. Kardashian was showing a slimmer figure from the intense competitive training, in a simple fitted black shirt, while Cheryl stood out in a sequined black cocktail dress.

Just before 2 am, a wave of eruptions worked their way through the club as R&B superstar Usher and electronic phenomenon David Guetta entered to their table on stage. Usher took a moment to interrupt will.i.am’s DJ set and greet his fellow artist and friend. Usher was in high spirits, bouncing all over the stage breaking out his signature dance moves, taking shots of Patron, and mingling with his friends. When will.i.am dropped Usher and Guetta’s latest hit collaboration, Without You, the two both immediately jumped into the DJ booth, with Usher taking the microphone and serenading a sea of screaming fans below.

Intermingled in Usher’s entourage was Pretty Little Liars starlet Ashley Benson, donning a black mini-dress with open, lace back. Sipping Grey Goose cocktails, she was seen dancing on stage with two gal pals before moving out of sight from the crowd below to steal a few secluded moments with Ryan Good. Ryan, rumored to have been hired by Usher to be Justin Bieber’s swagger coach, was holding her cell phone, pouring her drinks, and holding her hand throughout the evening. The two were spotted whispering sweet nothings to each other and canoodling on stage.

Arriving just after 3 am, American Idol host and radio icon Ryan Seacrest and girlfriend Julianne Hough took over Usher’s seating area, accompanied by two bodyguards and several friends. Julianne, starring in the remake of Footloose out on October 14, showed off her skills, dancing at the front of the stage while hanging onto the DJ booth into the early hours of the morning. Seacrest admired from afar, watching from their VIP couch while chatting with XS Managing Partner Jesse Waits.

Also spotted on stage, Black Eyed Peas member apl.de.ap, UFC champ Tito Ortiz and wife Jenna Jameson, plus DJ Pete Tong.

In a separate group, Twilight star Christian Serratos, best known for her role as Angela in the vampire saga, rang in her 21st birthday inside and was presented with a three-tier themed cake in celebration. Surrounded by close friends, the actress donned a silver party dress and danced the night away.

New Boyz and Nick Cannon at Chateau Nightclub..in Vegas!

 

Friday night, during one of the biggest music weekends in Las Vegas, Nick Cannon returned for his DJ residency along with a special live performance by music group New Boyz at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens www.chateaunightclublv.com. Around 1 a.m., the mainstream artists walked the red carpet sporting Sugar Factory Couture Pops and designer sunglasses. Cannon followed shortly after as fans yelled, "I love you Nick!" The comedian, dressed in Rat Pack swagger posed for photos with the New Boyz before they entered the nightclub.

The duo opened for the resident DJ with their smash hit single "Backseat" and one of the summer's biggest hits "With The Lights Off."

After the crowd pleasing performance, Cannon took to the DJ booth for his highly anticipated appearance. Late into the night he  played a number of mash-ups including J Lo's, "On The Floor," and Missy Elliott's, "Lose Control." The clubgoers danced the night away and went wild inside the packed mega-club as the Cannon's mixing skills kept the crowd's energy going all night long.
