He's BACK..Gazillionaire's and Absinthe returns to Caesars Palace!
Las
Vegas has
spoken! Due to critical acclaim and popular demand, ABSINTHE’s filthy rich
impresario, The Gazillionaire, has announced that Las Vegas’ “Best New Show” will return to the spotlight at the
glimmering epicenter of the Las Vegas Strip, the Roman Plaza at Caesars Palace. ABSINTHE will return to Sin City late-October, where the show’s outlandish acts will
continue to captivate audiences and critics alike in a newly transformed venue,
infused with mystique and intrigue.
“With the ridiculous amount
of money that I put into this show, having it stay here at Caesars Palace for another year isn’t such a bad idea,” said Gaz.
“Besides, everyone here in Vegas loves us so much, it’d be a shame to take that
away from them.”
“We are pleased and extremely
proud that ABSINTHE will remain at Caesars Palace for another year,” adds Scott Zeiger, co-chief
executive officer of BASE Entertainment. “ABSINTHE has truly made its mark in Las Vegas; delivering show-stopping and awe-inspiring
entertainment each and every night.”
Spiegelworld Impresario, Ross
Mollison said today, “Las
Vegas is the
perfect place for us! With ABSINTHE
being so well received by both the critics and audiences alike, we felt that we
needed to extend this production and make a home here at Caesars Palace.”
“In keeping with the Caesars Palace tradition of delivering high-quality, innovative
entertainment experiences to the Las Vegas Strip, ABSINTHE has delighted both
guests and critics alike,” said Gary Selesner, Caesars Palace president. “With the addition of ABSINTHE and some
new dining venues, the Roman Plaza has become an exciting, Strip-side entertainment hub.
We’re pleased the show will remain a focal point of that experience and
continue to make its home at Caesars Palace.”
ABSINTHE fans can take pleasure
in knowing that the foul-mouthed Gazillionaire, his raucous assistant Penny
Pibbets and the cast of eccentric performers will once again take center stage
to allure and hypnotize audiences with the jaw-dropping acts guests have come
to know and love.
ABSINTHE will resume
performances on October 21. Upon
opening, guests will find a new ABSINTHE venue suitable for all seasons which
will integrate the old-world charm, theater-in-the-round presentation and
intimate nature that audiences have embraced.
ABSINTHE will perform
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00
p.m. and Wednesday and Sunday
at 8:00
p.m., with no show on Monday.
The opening week schedule will be Friday, October 21, Saturday, October 22 and
Sunday, October 23 at 8:00pm
and 10:00pm. The schedule
is subject to change without notice.
Tickets will go on sale on
Wednesday, September 28 at 10:00 a.m. General admission tickets are available
for $79 + tax, with a VIP package available at $109 + tax per person. The VIP package includes early entrance into the Spiegeltent for special

Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace bring you..."relax-cation!"
Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace presents the ultimate “relax-cation” with a series of
destination spa weekends centered around the renowned Self Awareness and Growth
Experience (SAGE) seminar. Retreats will be offered at the award-winning spa
Friday, Sept. 23 to Sunday, Sept. 25, and again Friday, Feb. 17 to Sunday, Feb. 19,
2012.
Designed by internationally
known professional speaker Todd Hershey, SAGE helps to improve self awareness
and educate individuals on how to obtain a better life balance. Offered in
30-minute individualized sessions led by Hershey, SAGE helps guests undergo an
inner transformation leading to an overall enhanced wellbeing. Each session is
$99 and multiple sessions can be combined for a more in-depth reading.
“SAGE teaches individuals how
to achieve an elevated understanding of their higher self,” says Hershey. “By
educating on how to release old, negative thought patterns and replace them
with new, positive behaviors, it creates more room for peace and harmony to
fill their lives and will have a profound impact on the individual’s overall
outlook.”
Guests can also enhance their
destination spa weekend with Regression Hypnosis, a personalized session aimed
at exploring and unlocking past situations to be addressed in present day.
Sessions in regression can help to resolve past or lingering issues and advise
on ways to move forward with present life. The only spa on the Strip to offer
hypnotherapy, Qua’s series encompasses a variety of subjects designed to lead
to better health and wellness including treatments for sleep disorders, stress
relief, weight management, smoking and more. Hypnotherapy sessions start at
$130.
For a more interactive
destination getaway, Qua offers yoga classes and a series of health and
wellness treatments. Rejuvenation Yoga with guided meditation is taught by yoga
master Swami Ramanada Saturdays at 10 a.m.;
classes are $15. Wellness treatments include Qua’s signature Chakra Balancing
and Shirodhara treatments such as the Ayurvedic Journey, a rejuvenation of the
mind and body through balancing energy work and warm oils streamed onto the
third eye chakra.
To round out a weekend full
of health and wellness, Qua’s organic Dosha Menu, featuring a variety of
fresh-squeezed juices, teas, soups, salads and small plate items designed to
meet the specific needs of an individual’s “dosha,” is available to spa guests.
Spa artisans are on-hand to assist guests in determining their dosha: Vata,
Pitta or Kapha. In Ayurvedic Medicine, it is believed that a diet specific to
an individual's dosha can lead to a more balanced and harmonious life.
Appointments are available
for both September and February destination weekends. For more information on
