Team Las Vegas headed to California for this weekend’s NHRA Jr. Dragster Series Div. 7 E.T. Finals

  

Fifteen NHRA Jr. Dragster teams will represent The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway at this weekend’s NHRA Division 7 Jr. Dragster E.T. Finals at Auto Club Dragway in Pomona, Calif.

Representing The Strip at LVMS in the 15-17 age category will be: Chad Webber, Jake Miller, Brittney Schmidt, Taylor Vetter, Shyann Desa and Daniel Henderson. Webber won the NHRA National Dragster Challenge in the Jr. Lightning class last Saturday at The Strip at LVMS.

Cody Webber, Trey Vetter, Christopher Payne and Matt Rust will represent The Strip at LVMS in the ages 13-14 class.

The age 10-12 group includes Gabrielle Schmidt, Josh Gagnon, Jessica Payne and Aaron Payne.

Keoki Desa is the lone Las Vegas entry in the 8-9 age class.

Jr. Dragster dad Mike Vetter is the team’s captain.

The athlete, who recently fought Floyd Mayweather, Jr. for the Welterweight title, was in great spirits as he snapped photos, signed autographs and shook hands with fans in the store. Contemporary Jazz Faves The Rippingtons at Sam's Town!

The Rippingtons have been performing for 25 years and have released 18 studio albums, including their most recent, “Cote D’Azur,” which was released in February 2011 and reached No. 1 on Billboard. Method Man delivers at LAX!

Saturday, September 17, legendary hip-hop artist Method Man delivered an amazing performance at LAX Nightclub inside Luxor Hotel andCasino.

Just before 1 a.m. the rapper got on the mic and greeted the packed house from the DJ booth before his performance. Treating his fans to a live mini-concert, the Wu-Tang Clan member started out by having the crowd chant"Wu-Tang, Wu-Tang, Wu-Tang" with him. His set included songs, "Da Rockwilder," "Bring The Pain" and more. During the performance, he made sure to give every one an up close experience as he made his way down into the crowd during one of his songs. Once finished, the venue cheered with excitement as he thanked the partygoers and headed back to his table.

The remainder of the night consisted of Method Man hanging out in his VIP booth with his friends that went late into the night. The artist and entourage sipped on mixed drinks, popped champagne and posed for photos with a couple of lucky beauties.

After strutting down the redcarpet and posing for photos, Manning was escorted directly to the DJ boothwhere she began setting up for her set. She hit the decks just after midnight and got the packed house on their feet as she kicked off the night by spinning her energetic house beats. As the multi-talented artist rocked the turntables the Maxim “Hometown Hotties” Top 10 Finalists strutted around the venue meeting fans as they celebrated making it to the last round. All 10 beauties stole the show and were the center of attention as they mesmerized male admirers with their irresistible beauty during the scintillating affair. Redheaded Wizard weaves spell at Sugar Factory! Fans line up!

Hogwart's resident redhead, Rupert Grint, made the trek all the way from London to Las Vegas to celebrate his 23rd birthday in style at Sugar Factory at Paris Las Vegas.

As soon as he stepped foot into Sugar Factory, the world-famous wizard was swarmed by fans eagerly trying to catch a glimpse of the "Harry Potter" star.

Grint enjoyed a savory dinner of turkey sliders, bruschetta and steak frites, accompanied by a mouthwatering Berry Bliss goblet. For dessert, the table indulged in an over-the-top red velvet birthday sundae complete with sparklers. All eyes were on the man best known as "Ron Weasley" as he made his way to the expansive Sugar Factory retail store and noshed on jelly beans, Runts and sour apple gummy candies, along with a creamy orange signature Sugar Factory Couture Pop.

Also spotted at Sugar Factory was music superstar, Busta Rhymes. Rhymes stopped by the sweet shop to stock-up on sour candies before heading over to Gallery nightclub.

MGM Grand Hotel & Casino was buzzing with energy last night after an epic fight between ‘Vicious’ Victor Ortiz and Floyd Mayweather at the MGM Grand Garden Arena where Mayweather claimed Ortiz’s WBC Welterweight Champion title in a thrilling match.

Ortiz arrived at Studio 54 inside MGM Grand for a post-fight celebration with an entourage 50 deep that included his manager Rolando Arellano, sparring partner and close friend Karl Dargan and his brother Temo Ortiz. A crowd of fans erupted outside of the iconic Vegas hot spot at the sight of Ortiz and his crew, hoping for photos and autographs.

The Kansas native was all smiles while playfully posing on the red carpet in a handsome grey pin-striped suit and Kansas City Royals blue baseball cap. Ortiz carried an even larger grin when he pulled his beaming girlfriend, Alexia Garland, to his side. Garland, wearing a flirty white dress, proudly posed for photos with Ortiz before headed inside the venue to celebrate.

Once inside the illustrious nightclub, Ortiz soaked up the attention from a throng of fans commending him on his hard-fought fight, stopping to shake hands and pose for pictures. Ortiz took the party upstairs to a private VIP area overlooking the energized dance floor where he greeted friends and family with hugs and a glowing smile.

DJ Forbes kept the energy of Ortiz’s arrival alive all night while mashing out chart-topping hits and electric beats. Songs like LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” and Pitbull’s “Hotel Room Service” kept Ortiz, his entourage and club-goers parting into the early morning hours.

Ray J was spotted at Marquee Dayclub on Sunday.  The singer soaked in the sun with a group of guys while drinking tequila and munching on burgers and fries.
