Gafforini, Ewing split twin NASCAR Super Late Model features at the Bullring; Herda wins ASA Speed Truck feature

Scott Gafforini and Robert Ewing won twin 35-lap NASCAR Super Late Model features on American Heroes Night at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Mike Herda of Las Vegas won the ASA Truck Series feature.

Scott Gafforini picked up his sixth feature event win of the season winning the first MetroPCS NASCAR Super Late Model feature of the night. Robert Ewing trailed the No. 38 and clenched the second place spot followed by Jeff Connors, Jeremiah Wagner and Dennis Rock Jr.

Robert Ewing claimed his second feature win of the season after dominating the MetroPCS NASCAR Super Late Model field. Ewing led the majority of the race after passing Glen Burke on lap 11. Ewing was followed to the finish by the winner of tonight's first feature, Scott Gafforini. Steve Anderson, Glen Burke and David Anderson completed the top five.

It was a battle between two Las Vegas drivers for the ASA Speed Truck feature win. Mike Herda and Jeremiah Wagner waged a fierce battle for the win and went side-by-side to the checkered flag in the last 10 laps. In the end, it was Mike Herda who took his first feature win at the Bullring. Jeremiah Wagner claimed second place and Chase Catania was third.

Jason Kaiser dominated the 30-lap NASCAR Bomber feature and scored his fourth victory of the season. Pete Meyer was second and Josh Morgan was third.

Don Sargent earned his first win in more than three years in tonight's Charger feature. The finish came after a long caution caused by a blown engine in Turn 4 with seven laps remaining. Matt Cunningham finished second and Chuck Burgess took third.

After a surprising finish in the 25-lap Legend Cars feature, Josh Fultz took the checkered flag. Michael Obonte took out leader Justin Irwin in Turn 4 causing a four-car wreck on the final lap and was charged with a caution. Jason Irwin claimed second place and Robert D'Ambra finished third.

Kayli Barker won her eighth feature of the year, followed across the finish line by Austin Morris and John Spilotro. Caden Carlin won his fourth 12-lap Bandolero Bandit feature of the season. After a three-way battle for the win on the last lap, Chris Trickle took second place and Gianna Marretti was third.

The 820th Red Horse Squadron from Nellis Air Force Base was honored on track during opening ceremonies and the national anthem was sung by Bridgette Foster.

NEXT RACE: Saturday, Sept. 30 - Lucas Oil Night at the Races, Lucas Oil Modified Series, NASCAR Metro PCS Super Late Models, NASCAR Chargers, NASCAR Bombers, Legend Cars, Bandoleros, Roadsters. USAC Quarter Midgets on mini-Bullring oval.

1 Million Served!! Buffet of Buffets winner..FABULOUS Prize Package!

James celebrating with prize and chefs
Since its inception in May 2009, Buffet of Buffets has helped one million visitors and locals in Las Vegas save a combined $15 million while enjoying many of the most acclaimed buffets in Las Vegas.  Guests who choose to buy a Buffet of Buffet pass have access to seven of Caesars Entertainment’s buffets for 24-hours for $44.99 ($49.99 for non-Total Rewards members), and can choose to add Village Seafood Buffet at the Rio for an additional $15.  The only program of its kind, the popularity of Buffet of Buffets led to the introduction of the All Stage Pass last year.  The All Stage Pass allows guests access to 18 shows for 48-hours for $99 ($119 for non-Total Reward Members) as well as preferred seating and discounted tickets for other Caesars Entertainment shows.

Saturday afternoon Erwin James visited Carnival World Buffet in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino for a late lunch with his wife Dania and decided to purchase the Buffet of Buffets pass.  They are visiting Las Vegas from Los Angeles, staying at the Rio for their ninth wedding anniversary plus a little time away from their seven year old son and 18 month old daughter.  They visit Las Vegas at least once a year and visit the Carnival World Buffet, where a friend is a chef at the Mexican station, every visit.  Their strategy to get the most value from the Buffet of Buffets pass is to start their 24 hours with a late lunch.  This time, the James’ decision paid off with more than just a great value.

James was surprised to learn that he was the 1 millionth guest and shocked that this milestone also came with an amazing prize package to enjoy on his next Las Vegas visit.  Because of his lucky timing James and his wife will be treated to a two-night stay in a Planet Hollywood suite, entrance to The Auto Collections at the Imperial Palace, signature treatments at The Spa at Flamingo, entrance to the Eiffel Tower Experience, Sterling Brunch at Bally’s, Serendipity 3 breakfast at Caesars Palace, lunch at KGB in Harrah’s and Margaritaville in Flamingo, dinner at Matorano’s in Rio and the Steakhouse at Bill’s, tickets to Dirk Arthur at O’Sheas, tickets to a Colosseum show and a VIP table at VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub at Rio.  Taking inspiration from the Buffet of Buffets, which gives guests access to the whole city, the prize package touches all of Caesars Entertainment’s Las Vegas resorts.

Jersey Shore stars & Flo Rida AND Nicole Scherziner flock to Sugar Factory!

.       Jennifer ‘JWOWW’ Farley

Nelly & Nicole Scherzinger

Celebrities in Las Vegas flocked to Sugar Factory last night as Nicole Scherzinger, Nelly, Flo Rida and "Jersey Shore" stars Jennifer 'JWOWW' Farley and Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola invaded the sweetest spot on the Strip.

The incomparable night started with Farley and her boyfriend, Roger, stopping by Sugar Factory's retail store inside The Mirage Resort & Casino. The couple playfully picked-out their favorite sweets  - gummy bears and Oreo cookies, in addition to posing for photos and chatting with fans. The boisterous "Jersey Shore" star scoured the store, picking up a few logo tank tops and hats, a large, hot-pink gumball machine and a few shot glasses - an item Farley collects from all of the places she visits. Farley's favorite item was Sugar Factory's line of Hello Kitty Couture Pops, and she was overheard saying "Nicole (Snooki) would love these!"

The night continued with recording artist Flo Rida hosting a large dinner party at Sugar Factory American Brasserie inside Paris Las Vegas. The award-winning lyricist noshed on steak frites and pacific salmon, and indulged in an over-the-top cookie jar ice cream sundae for dessert. "Jersey Shore" star Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola arrived shortly after with her two sisters, Nikki and Rachel, and the trio headed straight to Flo Rida's table for a group photo. Giancola treated herself to a chicken caesar crepe, along with creamy milk, dark and white chocolate fondue. The Jersey girls loved the eatery's candy-inspired cocktails and sipped on Red Velvet martinis and Oceans Blue goblets. After dinner, the Giancola troupe grabbed a few confections to-go inside the Sugar Factory retail store, including a heaping handful Reese's peanut butter cups - Sammi's favorite.

The night was far from over as gorgeous songstress Nicole Scherzinger and hip-hop megastar Nelly entered the building within minutes of each other. Scherzinger and her friends held court in a plush, corner booth and indulged in a few chocolate crepes before heading over to the retail store to stock-up on sweets. Scherzinger, who has her own signature series of Sugar Factory Couture Pops, was in awe of the spacious sweet shop and graciously stopped to take photos with the swarms of fans that quickly filled the store. As soon as Nelly spotted the bombshell beauty he headed over to say hello and pose for a few photos. Nelly and his group enjoyed a quick bite of chicken and waffles, along with chocolate milkshakes, before heading upstairs to perform at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens.

Sugar Factory American Brasserie is an American take on a traditional French brasserie, serving delicious cuisine all day, and all night, along with an over-sized retail store and signature Chocolate Lounge. other Sugar Factory retail stores are located at The Mirage and Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.
