KGB Provides Funds for 10,974 Meals for Three Square!

Tuesday  night at KGB, guests of Celebrity Chef Kerry Simon dined on Summer Salad Parfait, Kerry’s Sliders made famous on “Iron Chef,” Cotton Candy, Breakfast cupcakes and more; sipped on KGB’s signature cocktails Double Agent and the Traditional; and purchased raffle tickets all while raising enough funds to provide 10,974 meals to hungry Southern Nevadans.  Since the inception of this Restaurant Week event last year, KGB has increased funds donated by more than 468 percent.  Party-goers bought raffle tickets for the chance to win fabulous prizes including a Jameson Snow Board provided by Pernod Ricard USA , a Jim Beam electric guitar autographed by Kid Rock and donated by Bean Global Spirits & Wine, Inc., a Dos Equis wooden cooler provided by Heineken USA and many more.  The excitement peaked when two bidders started a duel over a dinner for six at KGB hosted by Kerry Simon.  When the bidding reached $600, Simon graciously offered each of the bidders dinner for six; thereby raising an additional $600 for Three Square , a charity Simon supports throughout the year.  Proceeds from tickets to the event as well at 50 percent of all proceeds from KGB logo’d merchandise were combined with raffle and auction funds to reach the staggering donation of almost 11,000 meals.

The gourmet burger restaurant will continue to raise money for Three Square until Sept. 11 by offering both a lunch and dinner menu as part of Restaurant Week.

Lorena is "Showgirl of the Month" for FANTASY in September!

 FANTASY will showcase its headliner, Lorena Peril, as the “Showgirl of the Month” in September. The month is a big one for the steamy adult revue at Luxor Hotel and Casino, as the show will celebrate its 12th anniversary, new ad campaign, 2012 Ultimate FANTASY calendar launch and the debut of three new numbers, including a song Peril co-wrote for the opening number.

Peril, featured in September in the show’s 2011 calendar, is a powerhouse vocalist who celebrated her one-year anniversary with the show in August. This exotic bombshell, from San Francisco, is fiercely sexy on stage, but also has a mellow side.

“My favorite thing to do is relax after a show at home with my love, light candles and drink a glass of wine,” said Peril.

This FANTASY knockout also has a love for the outdoors. She enjoys fishing on her dad’s boat, or spending time at the dog park.  Besides singing and dancing salsa, Peril also loves to cook her specialty, a Japanese hot pot called Shabu Shabu, travel to exotic countries and go to concerts.

Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu stopped in to Sugar Factory American Brasserie  www.SugarFactory.com at Paris Las Vegas late last night with a couple of friends. Preston and her 11-year-old daughter were in a wonderful mood as they shopped around the massive flagship store, picking out items such as Sugar Factory loungewear and apparel, a pair of Sugar Factory’s designer denim jeans, three Couture Pops, including a Hawaiian Crush Couture Pop from Nicole Scherzinger’s line of the famed Sugar Factory signature treats and a large cupcake shaped coin bank.

While her husband, Hollywood icon John Travolta, was not with the group, his wife and look-alike little girl had a blast and couldn’t get over how fun Sugar Factory’s Couture Pops were. The mother and daughter shopped for about 30 minutes and took a few pictures before leaving hand-in-hand.

Saturday, August 27, Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett, star of her self-titled hit E! series ‘Kendra,’ spent the afternoon partying with girlfriends Holly Madison and Jessica Hall at WET REPUBLIC at MGM Grand. The bubbly reality TV darling was surprised by the hundreds of fans patiently waiting for her arrival. Once she made her grand entrance, the energy at the Las Vegas hotspot sky rocketed as everyone cheered for the blonde bombshell. Looking better than ever, the former ‘Girls Next Door’ stepped onto the blue carpet wearing a sexy white bikini and turquoise barley-there cover-up while proudly showing off her toned and tanned figure.

She also talked about spending time with her girlfriends and what the perfect girls day/night out consists of, “Being here at WET REPUBLIC, this is what I call my girls day out. My friends are here that are all married with kids. We’re all great moms with families, but I wanted to treat them to the day of fun and all have a couple drinks because we need it!”

Directly following the carpet, Wilkinson along with her crew was escorted to their exclusive bungalow. When they got to their exclusive VIP spot, she kicked off her wedges, started dancing and having fun with her friends. She was seen being very playful as she squirted guests with water guns and even picked up a t-shirt launcher, where she shot t-shirts into the crowd. But the celebutante spent most of the afternoon catching up with former ‘Girls Next Door’ cast member Holly Madison. The two busty blondes were seen laughing, talking and very happy to see each other.

Wilkinson-Baskett enjoyed the rest of the afternoon poolside while sipping on WET REPUBLIC’s signature cocktails, showing off her dancing skills and joked around with her friends while taking in the party atmosphere.
