Chateau delays rooftop constructions. No Thirty Seconds to Mars concert. Everything else as planned!

 Chateau Nightclub & Gardens has announced that the opening for the club’s rooftop Gardens has been postponed due to unforeseen delays in construction. With the postponement is the announcement that a concert by Thirty Seconds to Mars has been cancelled. Guests who purchased tickets to the concert will receive a full refund.

Other Labor Day weekend events will go on as planned inside Chateau Nightclub & Gardens, including appearances by Nelly on Friday, Sept. 2, Akon on Saturday, Sept . 3, and Estelle on Sunday, Sept. 4. Tickets for these events are available on Chateau’s website at www.chateaunightclublv.com.

Ronn Lucas Show coming to Suncoast! Master Ventriloquist!

 Ventriloquist Ronn Lucas and his cast of characters will delight audiences with a mix of stand-up comedy and improvisations at the Suncoast Showroom for two performances, August 27 and 28, each evening at 7:30 p.m.

Lucas was the first ventriloquist to headline a long-running show in Las Vegas.  He has received numerous accolades for his performances -- including being named The World’s Best Ventriloquist by The New York Times and The London Times -- and has performed for several U.S. presidents.

Appearing alongside Lucas are his trusty sidekicks Scorch the Dragon, Buffalo Billy and Chuck the Disposable Punk Rocker. In 1992, Scorch was the star of his own self-titled television show on CBS (with Lucas providing the voice).

Lucas has appeared on numerous television sitcoms, including “Nip/Tuck,” “L.A. Law” and “Night Court.” In 1990 he starred in “The Ronn Lucas Show,” broadcast in the United Kingdom. He has also performed on the “Jerry Lewis’ MDA Telethon” for 12 years.
