222 Imperial, just around the corner, has a show called Ice Cream Pop that will feature 25 Las Vegas artists. Fat Daddys Ice Cream Truck will be parked just outside.

In addition, the studios Cob4lt Blu3, Graficandus and Photo Bang Bang!, all in the Frist Friday South block, will be open.

Aside from the art on display, the Thai BBQ Restaurant will remain open to serve up fabulous fresh food, and Snick's Place will serve alcohol.

Neon Venus will provide live music from Lums and Leafs, Solid Suns, Firewise, James, Chase Freedom, Neon Envy, Russell Crouch, What Knotts and the venue's house titled band.

Baby Expo this week-end at Southpoint!

Baby Expo presented by CBS RADIO Las Vegas , 98.5 KLUC, Mix 94.1, and 1140AM KYDZ Radio is back for its 15th annual show, Saturday, August 6th from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the South Point Event Center .  Baby Expo invites all expectant moms and dads-to-be and new families to join in this fun filled day with all things geared towards baby and kids - from cribs to college.  Admission to the event is free and open to the public.

The event will feature demonstrations from Gymboree, balloon artists, face painting, and our “Diaper Derby” contest hosted by Chet Buchanan from 98.5 KLUC’s Chet Buchanan and The Morning Zoo. There will be three heats of the “Diaper Derby” contest for crawlers ages 6-12 months. Winners of the contest will receive ribbons & prizes for each race.

The Queens of Tart now at Big Al's Comedy Club!

 Big Al’s Comedy Club at The Orleans Hotel and Casino presents the hilarious all-female comedy trio, The Queens of Tart, August 4-28.

The host of The Queens of Tart, Anna Lane, is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area.  She began entertaining at the tender age of six, telling jokes to her stuffed animals. She now performs in comedy clubs throughout the U.S. and has appeared on television and in several films.

Jody Ferdig is no stranger to comedy, working her way through the Houston outlaw comedy circuit before tackling Hollywood. This bawdy redhead has opened up for numerous comedy legends, including Rodney Dangerfield, Dave Chappelle, Ron White, George Lopez, Margaret Cho, Mitch Hedberg, and Ralphie May. She co-starred in the award-winning documentary “Red, White and B****” about life as a female comic, performed on SITV’s “Funny is Funny,” and has been featured on “My Life on the D-List” with Kathy Griffin.

Lang Parker moved to Los Angeles from Wisconsin to pursue a career telling jokes about her dysfunctional upbringing on a Muskegon dairy farm. Lang came to national attention on the Emmy-nominated NBC show “Last Comic Standing,” where she impressed judge Buddy Hackett with her tomboy persona and comedic timing. Lang has appeared in more than two dozen national commercials and was crowned California’s Funniest Female in 2008.

Big Al’s Comedy Club headliner show times are Thursday at 7:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Every Sunday from 9 to 11:30 p.m. is open mic night, with no cover charge.

Spinderella's Birthday Party at LAVO!

Spinderella celebrated her 40^th birthday by manning the decks at LAVO’s Old School Wednesday last night.  The DJ and rapper, who was a member of the hip-hop group Salt-N-Pepa, sparkled in a t-shirt adorned with the words “I Spin” in pink glitter.  After taking in the scene from a VIP table she jumped into the DJ booth just before 1 am where she was surprised with a birthday cake presentation, kicking off her set that lasted until 3 am.

Aisha in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock! Parties in the Real World Suite!

Aisha Tyler visited Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas last night. While staying at the hotel she visited the Real World Suite where she bowled, shot pool and hung out with family and friends. The Real World Suite was featured on the 25th season of MTV's Real World.

She is an American actress, stand-up comedian, and author, known for her regular role as Andrea Marino in the first season of Ghost Whisperer and voicing Lana Kane in Archer, as well as her recurring roles in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Talk Soup, and on Friends as Charlie Wheeler.
