Notorious Rodman parties in Las Vegas! Makes it rain!

Five-time NBA champion and cigar aficionado, Dennis Rodman, celebrated his 50th birthday and the launch of his new WB Brand Cigar line at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens (www.chateaunightclublv.com) at Paris Las Vegas on Tuesday night.

The former NBA all-star arrived at Chateau outrageously dressed in a psychedelic, floral patterned Loudmouth Golf blazer over a black lace tank top with jeans, and an Ed Hardy baseball cap.  The over-the-top basketball superstar, who stands at 6’6”, stood out in the crowd and immediately drew a gathering of fans who recognized the NBA’s most notorious bad-boy.

Once inside the club, Rodman was ready to get the celebration started and took over Chateau’s Strip-side terrace where his group enjoyed Grey Goose vodka and Red Bull in their private cabana overlooking the majestic Bellagio fountains. Known for his wild antics on and off the court, Rodman didn’t disappoint as he put on a show for Chateau party-goers. The NBA megastar changed his blazer, donning a black and white houndstooth sport coat before jumping up on a banquette to dance with Chateau’s gorgeous go-go dancers and even proceeded to “make it rain” dollar bills. Rodman passed out cigars from his new WB Brand Cigar line to fellow partiers and got on the mic to address the crowd saying, “We’re in Las Vegas! The only city in the world where you can do whatever you want.” Before settling into his VIP cabana for the evening, Rodman signed several autographs and posed for photos with fans.

Chateau Nightclub & Gardens features three separate nightlife experiences including a high-energy nightclub, magnificent Strip-side terrace and the blossoming Chateau Gardens. Chateau Nightclub & Gardens is located at Paris Las Vegas, directly above Sugar Factory American Brasserie. Movie Audition Casting Call! Next Weds in Las Vegas!

Audition for  "Afflicted"

A twisted tale of girl meets boy, girl manipulates boy, boy likes girl, girl 'kind of' likes boy, boy angry at girl, boy follows girl around, and finally boy and girl have terrifying revelations about each other in a dangerous confrontation. The story of what should NOT happen in any relationship: How overconfident (but is secretly vulnerable) Eliza is encouraged into making a bet to take advantage of Max, a boy with a troubled life who is trying to do right.

Production Company: Dark Water Productions
Casting Director: Helen McCready
NON-UNION CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
Compensation: Copy, Meal, Credit
Where: Casting Call Entertainment 2790 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas NV 89121
When: Wednesday July 27, 2011 from 4pm to 7pm

Eliza - (Any ethnicity, late teens-early 20's) Intelligent, but overconfident girl that allows her friends to dictate her actions. She is capable of being a good person who thinks for herself, but relies too much on the opinions of others to stay popular. Can emote intense, but real emotion when confronted with great dangers.

Sam - (Any ethnicity, early 20's) Snobby, manipulative girl that likes to push others around. The leader of the "four girl clique." Very devilish in her ability to say just the right set of words in order to get others to comply. Likes sunglasses.

Girl #2 - (Any ethnicity, late teens) A somewhat friendly girl, but a push over. Allows Sam to walk all over her. Admires Eliza, but is too caught up in the clique to do the right thing. Is very fond of necklaces.

Girl #3- (Any ethnicity, late teens) A ditzy girl that does not have a mind of her own. She simply follows the others, says random things to fit in, and has the lowest self-esteem of all of the girls. Likes earrings.

Tim - (Caucasian, early 40's) The uncle of Max. An intimidating and handsome man who will now allow Max to forget his wrongdoings. He is attractive to the girls, but also exerts an uncomfortable creepiness due to his ability to be too direct. Confrontational, but subtle in his warnings.

Extras will be in the restaurant scenes and party scenes.

Insomniac Donates $75,000 from Electric Daisy Carnival Ticket Sales to Las Vegas Charities
Clark County School-Community Partnership, The Smith Center for Performing Arts, and Injured Police Officers Fund Each Receive $25,000

Insomniac presented $75,000 to Las Vegas charities today from funds raised through ticket sales at the Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. The Clark County School-Community Partnership Program, The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and the Injured Police Officers Fund – Las Vegas each received checks for $25,000 at a presentation held at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

“This year’s festival was one of the best in Insomniac history, and we are incredibly appreciative of the Las Vegas community joining together to welcome us and assist with a memorable event,” said Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac’s CEO and founder.  “We are thrilled to be able to present $25,000 donations to key organizations that will only help improve the city where our fans and partners reside.”

The Clark County School-Community Partnership Program connects business and community resources with schools to enrich the educational experience and increase student achievement. The Clark County School-Community Partnership Program began in 1983 as a pilot program of seven schools partnered with seven businesses. Since that time, it has grown to hundreds of partnerships with programs that range from kindergarten to twelfth grade, from tutorial programs to scholarships, from science activities to fine arts programs.  Insomniac’s partnership will help support, supplement and complement Arts Education Programs in Clark County public schools.

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is a public/private partnership, opening in 2012, which will become the centerpiece of cultural life in Las Vegas. In December 2010, The John F. Kennedy Center chose The Smith Center as the fourth partner city for Any Given Child, a program that will create a long-range arts education plan for Las Vegas area students.  The program will incorporate existing resources of the Las Vegas school system, along with those of local arts organizations and the Kennedy Center to ensure that every child has the opportunity to receive a solid and meaningful arts education.

The Injured Police Officers Fund (IPOF) was formed in October 1982 to help reduce the financial burden suffered by police officers and their families in the event of a line of duty injury or death by providing monetary assistance to these officers and their families.  IPOF currently assists over 8,000 officers and their families in Nevada.

Insomniac held the 15th Annual Electric Daisy Carnival June 24-26, 2011 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, marking a major success for North America’s largest electronic dance music festival with an estimated 230,000 attendees, more than 100 electronic artists and 430 performance artists, during the three day festival’s debut in Las Vegas. Insomniac will be making additional donations to other charities in the upcoming weeks to finalize distribution of the funds raised at Electric Daisy Carnival.
