XS and Dennis Rodman! The party goes on...

NBA star and infamous bad boy Dennis Rodman took over the stage at XS Nightclub Monday night and partied into the early hours of the morning. Rumored to be in Sin City for his belated 50th birthday celebration, the 6’6” power forward sporting all black – baseball hat, Affliction t-shirt, athletic pants, and sunglasses - was hard to miss among the sea of clubgoers in attendance for Diplo’s DJ debut at XS. Rodman enjoyed cocktails and a cigar at his VIP table, joined by a group of beautiful women, before jumping onto the stage and taking over the mix master tasks from Diplo for a few songs.

Former NBA sensation and cigar aficionado, Dennis Rodman, will celebrate his 50th birthday as well as the launch of his WB Brand Cigar line at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens on Tuesday, July 19.

Known for his wild antics off the court and as one of the best rebounders to grace the NBA, Rodman has played for such notable teams as the Los Angeles Lakers, the San Antonio Spurs and the Chicago Bulls, with whom he won three of his five championships and the Detroit Pistons where he also won two championship titles.  Rodman has earned NBA All-Defensive First Team honors seven times and was voted NBA “Defensive Player of the Year” twice.  Rodman has also achieved success writing two autobiographies and starring in reality television shows such as “The Celebrity Mole” and “Celebrity Apprentice.”  Rodman will walk the red carpet before heading upstairs to celebrate his birthday and new line of cigars.

Rice & Company to Open at Luxor Hotel & Casino – Friday July 22

The Strip is about to get a fresh new taste of the Far East with Rice & Company, an Asian bistro opening at Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Friday, July 22.  The 10,000-square-foot restaurant, sushi bar and lounge will offer contemporary Chinese and Japanese cuisine, an array of sushi and sashimi selections including dozens of innovative rolls, as well as specialty cocktails and an expansive sake menu.

“Rice & Company will be a wonderful addition to the already dynamic food and beverage program at Luxor,” said Renee West, president & COO of Luxor. “Our guests will enjoy the unique menu, specialty cocktails and contemporary atmosphere.”

Rice & Company’s distinctive dishes will be made from the freshest ingredients of the highest quality. Diners will enjoy such innovative selections as Lobster Shumai made from fresh lobster, crawfish and caviar, infused with wasabi, basil and onion in a Thai chili sauce and Cajun White Tuna with white mango salsa, seared and topped with mango, mint leaf, lime juice and black sesame. Executive Sushi Chef Danny Chen has developed a sushi menu offering the freshest cuts of sushi and sashimi, as well as an expansive menu of “Chef’s Special Rolls” offering something for any sushi palate. Being the perfect step-mommy, Khloe Kardashian beat the 100 degree heat and took Lamar Odom’s kids to the Malibu Country Mart for slushies. Khloe and kids had so much fun, she even took to posting about her day on her blog.

Actress Emma Roberts and her boyfriend Chord Overstreet, best known for his role as ‘Sam Evans’ on the television series Glee, spent the day enjoying each other’s company strolling the streets and perusing the luxury stores.

Venturing out for a mommy-daughter day, Brooke Burke took her daughter, Neriah shopping for some quality bonding time. Chris Paul’s bachelor party continued on Sunday.  The New Orleans Hornets star was joined by fellow NBA pros including Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Carmelo Anthony at Marquee Dayclub for Regatta Chic Sundays. The group feasted on dishes from the poolside menu and took in the sounds of the Captains of Industry, DJs StoneRokk and Graham Funke.

Hash House A Go Go will be hosting a job fair for all restaurant positions to work at the new location inside the newly renovated Plaza Hotel and Casino opening in late 

August. Positions available are server and server bartenders with three or more years of experience in a fast paced, full service, dining area. The restaurant is also looking for line

cooks, food expos and prep cooks with two or more years experience in a fast paced restaurant. Positions are also available for hosts, bussers and dishwashers. Only full time

positions are being offered. Training for positions begins August 15.

Ideal candidates will be energetic, friendly and have a knowledge and love for the food they are working with in the restaurant. Applicants should come fully prepared to be

Laura Croft Hosts Flamingo's GO Pool..frolics and rides mechanical bull!

Laura Croft, Playboy playmate and co-star on E!’s hit show “Holly’s World” spent the afternoon Sunday, July 17 partying with the guests at Flamingo’s 18 and over GO Pool.  She started off the afternoon with friends in a spacious cabana, sipping champagne and watching the finish of the gut-wrenching loss of the US Women’s Soccer Team against Japan. After walking around the pool and posing with guests for photographs, pool-goers had the opportunity to talk and joke around with Laura as she got in the pool to cool off. She capped off a fun day by climbing on top of the mechanical bull to pose for a few shots before heading back her the pool-side cabana to relax.

Movie Star and Wax Figure MEET! Madame Tussaude's newest...hungover?

Actor and star of blockbusters “The Hangover” and “The Hangover Part II,” Bradley Cooper joins the esteemed Madame Tussauds Las Vegas collection Monday with a twice as nice likeness worth $300,000.

The actor and wax figure met for the first time at the side-by-side unveiling.  Cooper commented, “Thank you, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.  I am honored to be added to the collection.”

Bradley Cooper met with Madame Tussauds artists months before, where hundreds of measurements of the actor were taken - along with color matching of his hair, eyes and skin tone in preparation for his figure.  Along with his signature smile, the figure is donning a tailored two-piece Tom Ford suit.

 “We’re thrilled to add Bradley Cooper to our attraction.  He has become an iconic Vegas figure with the popularity of ‘The Hangover,’ so it was a great match-up,” said Madame Tussauds Las Vegas General Manager Rosita Chapman.

The 36 year-old actor’s on-screen career catapulted after the release of “The Hangover” film, followed by movies “Limitless” (out on Blu-ray tomorrow) and “The Hangover Part II.”

 “Bradley Cooper” joins more than 100 celebrity wax figures at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, located in front of The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.  The attraction features seven themed rooms and includes new figures such as Eva Longoria, Gwen Stefani and Lady Gaga.
