Adam & Eve’s Charity Love Fling took place on Friday July 8^th at local hotspot LAVO. Every year the community comes together to support and raise funds for New Vista Community - “From an innovative and visionary concept to a fully realized dream - New Vista Ranch is the premier facility for housing and empowering adults with disabilities in Nevada. Founded in 1984 by parents of disabled individuals, New Vista Ranch is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality housing and support services to developmentally disabled adults.” 

Director Michelle Jackson started off the event with thanking the sponsors.  Hosting the event were charming and wonderful local media stars, Steph MacKenzie from 97.1 The Point and Rachel Smith from FOX 5, and morning anchor Dave Hall who just celebrated 10 years with FOX 5.

 From the moment you walked in and were offered refreshing Fortaleza Tequila cocktail (supplied by Lee’s Liquors) and scrumptious passed appetizers by LAVO’s famed kitchen a fabulous time was had by all.

Two ways that money was raised, bidding on celebrity singles and eligible singles from the Las Vegas community and a silent auction table. After a few cocktails the crowd loosened up and wallets were opened! The beautiful showgirls of Fantasy were a double dip of sexiness! Tracey and Soolin were at the beginning and the bidding was fast and furious with these lovely ladies. Tracey who is English purred to the crowd “who wants to be my Daddy?”  Bidding paddles went up and over $1500 was raised!

Before the bidding I had a chance to talk with several of the eligible singles and one in particular had a wonderful story. “King of Hearts” Mark has an autistic daughter and mentioned that it was with the help of New Vista that she has a better quality of life and it galvanized him to start his own organization which also helps those affected by autism. His bidding experience was wildly fun! He said that the bidding should start at $1000 and a sultry blonde sauntered up to him and started throwing hundred dollar bills! Steph was in charge of keeping the money safe, which she did, in her top! Alas the blonde did not win “The King of Hearts” and the winning bid was for $1900.

It is always the quiet guys that you need to look out for and after another fun experience with “Rev Your Engine Ladies” Taylor, who stripped down to his underwear which was stuffed with money, well then came “Mr. Vegas” James.  Shy and quiet he was the top earner, with his winning bid of $6000! Of course that fact that he shook his “money maker” had the crowd cheering and helped the bidding escalate. This entire event raised approximately $34,000.

Can you foster this sweet fur?? In Las Vegas!

This sweet girl was rescued this past weekend from a very neglectful situation. She was being kept in the garage. When they called her out she came slinking in like she was afraid she was going to be hit. She looked like she had never been brushed or bathed in her life. Her hair was all matted and came off in clumps as you petted her. She had never walked on a leash before and was too scared so she had to be carried to the car. But as soon as she got out of there she started wagging her tail and giving kisses. Angel is a small (26lbs.) collie (?) mix. She is approximately one year old. Despite the neglect she is very sweet and friendly and gets along with other dogs and is good with kids (even the bratty ones there who were being mean to her). She is currently being boarded so we would like to find a foster for her and get her into a loving home asap. New Fun coming to down town Las Vegas!! Swinger's Club..friendly fun!

Swingers Club, a one-of-its-kind bar concept, is coming to the brand new Plaza Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas. Customers at the Swingers Club will be able to mingle in a laid-back atmosphere that offers the unique entertainment combo of dueling pianos and mini golf, to put a little extra "swing" in the downtown night scene.

Conceived by longtime Las Vegas entertainer and entrepreneur Anthony Cools through his new venture Freeflow LLC, the Swingers Club will feature dueling pianos as the musical centerpiece of the bar. Rather than a stage setting, the pianos will be located on the bar floor to encourage audience participation, including sing-alongs, personal requests and the chance for the piano players to mingle with customers during breaks.

But unlike any piano bar you've ever encountered, this one will feature nine holes of mini golf to offer customers a guaranteed conversation-starter. All nine mini golf holes will be Vegas- themed featuring various festive memorabilia and props.

The bar will be open from 11 a.m. until 4 a.m. seven nights a week to customers 21 years of  age or older. Live music acts will play from 7 to 9 p.m., and the dueling pianos players will follow, entertaining customers from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Late night, a DJ will spin music for glow-in- the-dark disco golf from 2 a.m. until 4 a.m.

The live music will be centralized around the pianos to allow other areas of the bar to feature music at lower levels, encouraging conversation. "Swingers Club will be unlike anything else in Las Vegas," said Cools, managing partner of  Freeflow LLC which owns and manages the Swingers Club. "This isn't an ultra club with high- priced bottle service. Our goal was to create an inviting atmosphere where people can relax and just have fun. They can enjoy the live music of dueling pianos or leading stage acts, socialize with friends over drinks, and maybe meet someone new over a few holes of mini golf. I'm confident that the unique concept of the Swingers Club will complement the fun vibe of downtown and make it a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike."

"The brand new Plaza will offer its guests a fun and comfortable experience," said Tony Santo, president and CEO of Play LV, which operates the Plaza Hotel and Casino, "and the Swingers  Club is the perfect complement to that atmosphere."

Cools expects to debut the venue for the Plaza's soft opening August 24, with a grand opening planned for Labor Day weekend.

The one and only Keri Hilson stopped in Sugar Factory American Brasserie (www.SugarFactory.com ) at Paris Las Vegas last night for a late dinner. The stunning singer, done up in a curve-hugging pencil skirt and a sexy leather bustier top, enjoyed the eatery’s fried macaroni and cheese pops, artichoke dip, pan roasted Pacific salmon, the decadent red velvet sundae and a S'mores  martini with friends.  

After dinner, the songstress browsed Sugar Factory’s flagship retail location for some sweet retail therapy. Hilson picked up an adorable and delicious cupcake decorated Rice Krispy treat, the whimsical five pound "World's Largest Gummy Bear," and a few pairs Sugar Factory women's boyshorts. The lovely lady had a blast shopping and took a few pictures with her adoring fans  before heading out for the rest of her hot night.
