Monday 7/4, XS
Nightclub in Las Vegas capped off the long holiday weekend with a star
studded affair that brought thousands to experience an unforgettable evening of
heart-pumping music on the 4th of July. Resident DJ R3HAB kicked
off the evening with an opening set that filled the dance floor with electronic
dance music fans. Coming to check out Vegas nightlife at its finest was UFC fighter Tito Ortiz and former UFC champion Chuck Liddell, who were both in town for the weekends UFC 132 fights.
Shortly after 1 a.m., the highly anticipated performance by DJs Afrojack
and Steve Aoki began as neon glow sticks were thrown into the audience
and confetti fell from the ceiling. The two never fail at having a good time,
sporting new looks that included green eyeshades, fake sideburns and a chicken
mask while showing off their new ‘AFROKI’ drink to the audience.

Not afraid to
join the renowned DJs was rap superstar Lil Jon, who jumped on stage in
front of an explosive audience making sure everyone in the venue was on their
feet celebrating the patriotic holiday. Crazed partygoers erupted when Flo
Rida was next to join Afrojack and Aoki on stage for a surprise visit.
The rap artists helped the DJs pop champagne bottles and shower the
audience with bubbly. Aoki closed out the wild evening by crowd surfing
in a rubber raft, making this fourth of July celebration one that will go down
in history.

Suddenly you find the best spots!! Rí Rá Irish Pub!
Found this place by walking by last Saturday night! The band Planet X was phenomenal and the atmosphere so welcoming! You really need to go check it out!
Rí Rá Irish Pub, in Mandalay Place, will epitomize a true Irish pub experience, building a comfortable neighborhood environment where conversation flows as smoothly as Guinness ebbs in the glass. Constructed from a pub meticulously restored in Ireland then shipped to Las Vegas, the location is destined to be a hotspot for locals and visitors alike, offering an impressive line-up of live music, a comprehensive drink list and fare that defies pub standards. After all, when your name is translated as “celebration and good fun,” it would be blarney to have it any other way!
The latest endeavor from Irish natives and longtime friends David Kelly & Ciaran Sheehan and their American partner, Jay Luther, Rí Rá Las Vegas will deliver authentic pub experiences complete with nightly specials and lively events. Rí Rá will feature live entertainment seven nights a week including traditional Irish Sessions and visiting bands, like the rest of the pub, direct from Ireland. On the weekends, guests can let their hair down at Rí Rá Live, where every Friday and Saturday at 11 p.m. the best bands in town will take the pub's stage. Establishing a reputation as the party place, Rí Rá will provide a unique ambiance that serves as the background for familiar musical favorites and a bit of craic.
