This Fourth of July weekend, guests at Bellagio will enjoy a fun and casual afternoon at the latest Epicurean Epicenter event, BBQ & Beer. Held in Tuscany Kitchen Saturday, July 2 at noon, guests will enjoy a three-course lunch created by Bellagio Executive Chef Edmund Wong.


Complemented by a selection of refreshing beers chosen to enrich the taste of each dish, the event begins with savory selections of Grilled Flatbread, Olive Tapenade and Buttermilk Biscuits with Country Gravy. Next, the first course presents a delicious Maine Lobster “Bake,” Fancy Zucchini, Fingerling Potatoes and Burrata Blossoms, drizzled in Roasted Corn Vinaigrette and followed by a delicious entrée of Crispy Chicken and Waffles, Maple Butter Boneless Pork Ribs, Jalapeno and Citrus Vinaigrette Prime Dry Aged Rib Eye, Goat Cheese and Apricot “Souffle.”

Bellagio Director of Wine and Master Sommelier Jason Smith along with Bellagio Master Mixologist Matt Myers will create an astounding beer pairing presentation that will add flavor to each bite in addition to refreshing the palate. Enjoy delicious sips of Bellagio Fountains “Shandy,” Stella Artois, New Belgium “Somersault Ale,” and a trio of Hitachino Nest brews such as Red Rice Ale, Real Ginger Brew and Commemorative Ale 2011. Blondes did have more fun! Jenny McCarthy and Holly Madison at EDC!

Two blonde beauties stood out among the tens of thousands of attendees at this weekend’s Electric Daisy Carnival held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend. Jenny McCarthy and Holly Madison both danced the night away at the three day event, known as North America’s largest electronic music festival. In the photos attached, the TV starlets were dressed for the occasion on Friday night as McCarthy sported a pink tutu-esque dress with flowers on the bust, while Madison tapped into her own flower child fashion with daisies worked into her locks.


The girls hung out on the posh VIP stage run by XS and Marquee nightclubs where they had the best views in the house for headlining performers Tiesto, David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia, overlooking a sea of more than 40,000 festival goers below at just one of the event’s six stages. McCarthy was spotted on both Friday and Sunday nights while Madison was a dedicated fan, attending each evening after her performances in PEEPSHOW.

World Acclaimed show The Lion King welcomes new cast members!

Disney’s THE LION KING at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino welcomes Phindile Mkhize, Dashaun Young and Samantha Ware to the cast of the Las Vegas production this summer. Pride Rock continues its “Circle of Life” with reprised roles from Mkhize as Rafiki and Young as Simba, while debuting Ware as the playful and determined lioness Nala.


South African native Mkhize takes the stage as Rafiki Monday, July 4 after touring with THE LION KING for eight years. Mkhize has traveled to Germany, Australia, Holland and Amsterdam performing and sharing her talents. Past credits include The Lion King: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, Sarafina 2, Mama, Maria, Maria and WozaMyFohloza.

A LION KING veteran, Young began his role as Simba in Las Vegas Thursday, June 23 following performances in London, Broadway and the National Tour. As a graduate of California State University, Fullerton, Young is no stranger to the West Coast. Young has performed with Hairspray, Legends, The Scottsboro Boys, Emerald Man, Aida, Hello, Dolly! and Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

Broadway newcomer Ware debuted with THE LION KING Monday, June 13. Ware, 19, hails from Lincoln, Neb. where she was a student at Doane College. Her recent roles include Mimi in Rent and Velma in Chicago, both at City Stage in Union Station in Kansas City, Mo.

Flightlinez and the Fremont Street Experience will hold a “Flying for Funds” fundraiser from noon until midnight with proceeds from all zipline rides benefitting the “Be Great: Graduate” program of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas.

The “Be Great: Graduate” program is designed with middle school aged members in mind and aims to enhance each Club member's engagement with learning by providing consistent support from caring and trusted adults in developing the academic, emotional and social skills needed to achieve academic success and identify youth at risk of dropping out of school.

Flightlinez and Fremont Street Experience are committed to serving the Las Vegas community by hosting charitable fundraisers throughout the year. They are excited to be continuing their ongoing partnership with the community by pairing with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas for this special event.
