All 20 Tropical Smoothie Café Las Vegas locations welcome the start of the 2011 summer season with its fifth annual National Flip Flop Day celebration. This Friday, June 17, the first 500 customers who visit each of the 20 Las Vegas locations wearing flip flop sandals will receive a free 24-oz. Jetty Punch™ smoothie.

In addition to giving away more than 10,000 free smoothies to area customers, for the fourth year Tropical Smoothie Café is raising money for Camp Sunshine—a summer camp designed specifically for children with life-threatening illness and their families to provide a week of rest, relaxation, plus medical counseling and much-needed emotional support.

Now through June 26, 2011, Tropical Smoothie Café invites customers to contribute to the Camp Sunshine fundraising effort through the purchase of $1 paper flip-flops, which are posted throughout each store. Customers who donate $5 or more in-store will receive a Flip Flop Key Fob good for 10 percent off all purchases in 2011.
