Panorama Tower North Becomes The Martin

The Martin, formerly Panorama Tower North, kicks off a branding campaign to introduce the 45-story high-rise’s new identity and design, reflecting the full-service, boutique lifestyle being offered. The re-branding initiatives for the property are being implemented to bolster already steady sales.

“We selected the name ‘The Martin’ as it conjures a feeling of classic Las Vegas excitement with a dose of modern glamour. Using part of the street name where the building is located also creates a sense of familiarity,” said Alan Mark of The Mark Company, the management team overseeing the sales and marketing aspects of the property.

As part of the re-brand, Los Angeles-based designer and television personality Nadia Geller has been contracted to elevate The Martin’s amenity spaces, as well as introduce a spectacular new sales gallery and featured model residence – both to be unveiled in February. Additional building improvements are taking shape and will be revealed in the coming months.

In addition to the new name and design elements, The Martin’s re-branding efforts include a new logo, revamped website and new sales and marketing collateral. Enhanced building signage, along with outdoor and print advertising, will also complement the new website and marketing initiatives.

“The re-branding campaign innately affords the opportunity to establish a fresh identity in the marketplace in order to expand our appeal and to attract prospective home-buyers seeking residence in a global destination,” Mark continued. “The Martin’s proximity to the Strip offers residents the opportunity to revel in the excitement of nightlife, fine dining and entertainment that only Las Vegas can offer, only to retreat quietly to the comfort of home.”

42BELOW Cocktail Cup at the Golden Nugget send two bartenders to National Finals!




Monday night the 42BELOW event was absolutely amazing! The two winners were Mark Kiyojima of Progressive Bar Las Vegas and Red Rock Resort and Jason Hughes of Chandelier bar at the Cosmopolitan, who placed first and second respectively. Attached are pictures of the winners. I have a great variety of pictures, so let me know if you want me to send you event pictures.

Mark and Jason will now move on to compete at the national finals held in New York on Feb 27. From that group, three (3) U.S. champions will be chosen to represent the United States in the 2011 42BELOW Cocktail World Cup finals in New Zealand March 14 to 18, 2011.

As you know, the 42BELOW Cocktail World Cup was held at Gold Diggers Lounge at the Golden Nugget. The theme was "Carnival of the Cocktail." Guests enjoyed corn dogs, popcorn, snow cones, candy, festive 42BELOW cocktails and magic tricks by a local magician.

The judges were Darby Kelly of the Wynn (one of the top two Las Vegas finishers last year), Ray Srp of Savile Row, who is a member of the United States Bartenders Guild since May 2001 and founding board member of the USBG-Nevada Chapter,  and last but not least Don Chareunsy, arts and entertainment editor for the Las Vegas Sun.

Monday night songstress Kelis took over Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, hosting the club’s industry night, Marquee Mondays.  After dining at TAO, Kelis walked the red carpet and then settled into a VIP table near the massive DJ stage.  She was joined by friends including DJ Rashida and DJ 88, as well as her boyfriend, former NFL pro Adewale Ogunleye

Kelis then surprised the crowd, heading to the stage with DJ Rashida and treating club goers to an impromptu performance featuring a mash-up of her “Milkshake” before heading into another hit, “Acapella”. 

She celebrated the night by sipping champagne at her table and taking in the sounds of DJ Eric D-Lux.

October 2010 Playboy Playmate & Bettie Page Spokesmodel Claire Sinclair made a guest appearance today in a Bettie Page Clothing fashion show at Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas on 1/23/11.

On the runway  was Claire Sinclair who also appears on the E! Channel Reality Series 'Holly's World' with Holly Madison.Russian-born fashion designer Tatyana was also on hand.

Opening their first store in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood on the Strip in Vegas in 2007, BPC has additional boutiques in Hollywood, the Fashion Show Mall in Vegas, Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco and the Gaslamp store in San Diego (which recently opened in October 2010). There are future plans to expand in some of America’s premier tourist destinations including Newbury Street in Boston, Manhattan, the Twin Cities’ Mall of America and in Miami’s South Beach.

LVMS to be featured on HIT Show The Bachelor! Brad Womack and NASCAR!



Las Vegas Motor Speedway to be featured in upcoming episode of ABC’s hit romance reality series The Bachelor

 Las Vegas Motor Speedway will host a group date on the fifth episode of the ABC-TV reality series The Bachelor.  The episode will feature a special group and LVMS with the newest Bachelor, Brad Womack.

 Womack, who shocked Bachelor fans by rejecting both of his final bachelorettes in one of the most controversial finales in the series’ history, returns three years later. Womack, having undergone a radical personal transformation, feels sure has readied himself to make a genuine commitment to a relationship.  Tune in to watch Womack on his search for true love on Monday, Jan. 31 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

 LVMS is the most diverse racing facility in the United States. Boasting more than 10 racing venues, its centerpiece is the 1.5-mile superspeedway, which plays host to the Kobalt Tools 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on March 6.
