Professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather dined at N9NE Steakhouse inside Palms Casino Resort on Saturday (10.23.10). Mayweather and two friends enjoyed the rock shrimp for an appetizer. Mayweather had the 16-ounce New York sirloin with a side of lobster mash potatoes as his main course.

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, from MTV’s reality sensation, Jersey Shore dined at Nove Italiano. Giancola and four friends enjoyed signature dishes from Executive Chef Geno Bernardo including espresso shots and cannoli for dessert. Earlier in the day, Giancola had an exclusive cooking lesson from Chef Geno inside Nove Italiano’s kitchen and prepared Nove’s signature meatballs. Following her dinner at Nove, Giancola headed to Playboy Club where she was presented with the prestige Playboy Club key. Giancola and friends then headed over to Moon Nightclub for her hosting duties for the night.

Funny Car Championship Showdown at NHRA at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway!

America’s Greatest Drag Strip – The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway – will play host to one of professional drag racing’s biggest showdowns as 14-time NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series Funny Car champion John Force tries to catch points leader Matt Hagan with just two races remaining on the 2010 calendar. Agood day at the races in Las Vegas could very well seal the deal for either driver.

 Hagan drives for Don Schumacher Racing and holds a 34-point lead over Force as the relative youngster (he’s 27, Force is 61) seeks his first Funny Car title.

 “We have had a great year all year,” said Hagan. “I can't say enough about my guys and Tommy DeLago tuning the race car.  That Force camp over there is a first­class operation. John is a world champion for a reason.

  “We can't make any mistakes.  We have to go out there, do some good, solid racing, go some rounds. I don't feel like we have to set the world on fire but we need to go some rounds and keep kind of matching John round for round, and it will hopefully fall the way we want it to.  This drag racing, you never know how it's going to end up.

 “You know, I think there's definitely pressure the whole season.  It was pressure to get into the Countdown.  It's pressure to try to win every race. So you know, obviously, there's extra pressure.  I mean, you've got a camp like Force and my teammate, Jack Beckman, right there knocking on the door. Force has led the points all year long and we just got lucky enough to take that lead over. But these points change so quickly, I mean, one day you're on top and the next, you're sitting second or third or fourth.  And you know, we're so glad to have them but right now we have two big races ahead of us and I think that we are just going to treat them like every other race and just we are going to go out there, try to get it past the first round and what will be, will be.

Despite 14 trips to the champion’s podium, Force is not copping a been-there, done-that attitude.

 “I am glad to be heading to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks because that is where they have every big heavy-weight prize fight,” said Force. “I'm in a fight for this championship and I've been in championship fights before. I'm ready and we are going to come out swinging.

 “Beckman's still got a shot.  But at the end of the day, we can't count on Hagan to make mistakes.  (He’s got) too good of a race car with the tuners they have got and the financial backing that they have got from Schumacher.  And the driver's good. So we have to come home and make changes. We try to look at why Hagan's car would run and our car wouldn't run.  And basically, the weight factor is the thing we found as the biggest problem, even though he's much bigger than me, the Schumacher cars are light. So we put our car on a diet.  I guess we have taken like 40 pounds off it.  So we have got to go into Vegas, scale it, make sure it's right.

 “We have got to do everything we can to gobble up the points like he did at the last race.  He did everything right.  We did everything wrong.  And the fact that Cruz was able to get him in the final, it still kept our hopes open. I need every point I can if I'm going to catch this kid.”

Jack Beckman also has a chance to claim the title if he does well in both Las Vegas and the season finale in Pomona, Calif.

But Hagan and Force will have to worry about the rest of the field since the entry list for the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals is bulging at the seams. Twenty-one Funny Cars are entered in the Halloween Weekend dragfest – the biggest entry list since the 2008 NHRA Winternationals. To be eliminated by a non-contender in the first round could spell disaster for Force or Hagan.

Famed DJ Tiesto returned to Surrender for a second night in a row. The DJ hung out in an exclusive bungalow with two friends and several ladies, while drinking vodka with cranberry juice. Tiesto told Surrender staff that he was very impressed by the venue’s lighting system and enjoyed the hotspot until am.

Comedian Geechy Guy, star of "The Dirty Joke Show" at Hooters Casino Hotel, taps the keg in honor of Oktoberfest at the Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas, joining other celebrities including Lance Burton, Carrot Top and The Amazing Johnathan. Geechy took on the happy task just before his 10 p.m. shows on Saturday, October 23, to a full house in the famous Las Vegas Bavarian beer hall which opened six years ago. Geechy was accompanied by other "Dirty Joke Show" cast members Rob Sherwood and Mat Black.

Jabbawockeez at M.U.S.I.C. their new show at The Monte Carlo!

World-famous dance crew, Jabbawockeez, celebrated the grand opening of their new hit show "MUS.I.C." last night at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Following the show, the Jabbawockeez continued the celebration at Ignite Lounge with their signature cocktail, the "Jabba No Wockee" and took photos with family, friends and fans. Emmy-nominated choreographers Napoleon and Tabitha, who directed the show, also joined the Jabbawockeez during the grand opening celebration. Monte Carlo Headliner Frank Caliendo, JERSEY BOYS stars Travis Cloer and Jeff Leibow, Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular's Kristi Holden and the cast of Fantasy were also in attendance, among others.

Another unexpected Movie Star Sighting!!

Kirsten Dunst had drinks with a friend at Vanity in an exclusive VIP area. Kirsten was enjoying herself, at one point doing a dance for her friend.

Actor Walter Perez, best known for his role in "Fame," had a VIP booth by the stage to celebrate his friend's bachelor party. The group partied all night, shutting the club down.

Alternative rock band Everyday Tragedy were also spotted enjoying drinks at the hotspot last night.

Laura Croft rides Ice Cold Bull!! And takes him by the horns! All at Minus5!

The rodeo was back in town and Minus5 Ice Bar at Monte Carlo Resort & Casino has created its own bull to take by the horns. In honor of the Professional Bull Riders finals in Las Vegas from October 20-24, Minus5 is featuring a full-sized, 1,200-pound bull carved from clear, pure Canadian ice.

Guests can experience the giant bull up close and personal, as they can not only take pictures with the icy beast, but ride that bad boy as well, making for a complete PBR experience. The bull will be on display until January 2011.

Minus5 recently opened its second Vegas outpost at Monte Carlo in August, and since then has claimed its spot as one of the coolest places to hang out in the city. Everything is made of 100% ice in this icy wonderland, including the bar, tables, benches, walls and even the glasses guests drink from. In addition the new bull, Minus5 at Monte Carlo also boasts a 10-foot, hand-carved ice sculpture of Mount Rushmore and the familiar Welcome to Las Vegas sign.

Friday night Hugh Grant was spotted at TAO Las Vegas.  Joined by a group of ten friends the actor drank Grey Goose and Red Bull cocktails while taking in the sounds of special guest DJ Ross One.

The day before New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes was seen checking out Worship Thursday at TAO.
