“Las Vegas Colorist of the Decade” Michael Boychuck” Presents The Hottest Trends I Hair for the Fall and Winter
Michael Boychuck, the go-to hair colorist for a bevy of Hollywood heavyweights and owner of three of Las Vegas’ chicest salons - COLOR at Caesars Palace, AMP at the Palms and PRIMP at Palms Place - anticipates the sexiest trends in hair for the fall and winter seasons.
“Many of my clients like to go with a darker color during the winter months,” said Boychuck. “To keep hair from being flat and monochromatic, highlights that frame your face will bring warmth to the eyes by adding movement and texture. I recently darkened Laura Croft’s hair and she exemplifies this trend beautifully.”
Warmer highlights mixed with golden, caramel, light brown and even red hues give a glowing look that is often stolen away by the fall and winter seasons. These trends are showcased on the locks of women everywhere from red carpets to Boychuck’s salons.
“Mixing light brown and golden highlights can also enhance the radiance of your skin,” added Boychuck. “It’s a wonderful change for those with a one-dimensional hair color.”
Boychuck also stresses the importance of keeping hair healthy and conditioned, and recommends conditioning treatments such as Chronologiste by Kerastase. After spending months in the harsh summer sun, a deep-conditioning treatment will infuse much needed moisture in parched tresses. Chronologiste is an innovative new product that revives dry and damaged hair and leaves users with soft and shiny locks.
Boychuck, who was named “Las Vegas Colorist of the Decade” by leading hair care company Schwarzkopf Professional earlier this year, is best known for his client of more than 15 years, Paris Hilton. The blonde bombshell recently stated, “(Boychuck) is the best colorist in the world! I love how he makes my hair look.”
George Maloof partnered with Boychuck to open AMP salon at the Palms in 2001. AMP is known for its laid back style and is popular among the city’s most stylish locals. COLOR opened in late 2007 at CaesarsPalace and is Boychuck’s largest salon. Its luxurious design by Faye Resnick provides guests with style, in style. His newest salon, PRIMP, opened in May 2008. The minimalistic salon is an oasis for guests and residents alike at the lush Palms Place.
Best known for his work with longtime clients and friends Paris and Nicky Hilton, Boychuck and his salons have an impressive celebrity client roster that includes Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Eva Longoria, Lindsay Lohan, Kirsten Dunst, Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas, Jennie Garth, Willa Ford, Shannon Doherty, Donna D’Errico, Josie Bissett, Kathy Hilton and Susan Anton

Party girl Paris Hilton has returned to Las Vegas after spending the last few weeks traveling around the world. The heiress was seen bouncing around to her favorite nightclubs, XS and Tryst. She kicked off the evening at XS inside of Encore Las Vegas, where she was seated in her customary VIP booth surrounded by friends. Later in the night, she headed over to sister nightclub Tryst at Wynn Las Vegas to catch a glimpse of the surprise performance.
Over at Tryst, the highly anticipated surprise was finally revealed when R & B artist Montel Jordan took the stage. The club's energy sky rocketed when he performed his infamous song "This is how we do it" as guests sang along with Jordan. After the mini concert, Jordan decided to spend the rest of the night partying with his entourage and fans.
