Human Nature celebrates Earth Hour on the LV Strip!

This past Saturday, March 27 from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., Las Vegas was once again a part of the global Earth Hour movement raising awareness of climate change. Hotel casinos on and off the Strip turned off lights in support of the movement. Earth Hour originated in Australia several years ago and because of that connection, we got the guys from Thunder from Down Under and Human Nature involved. Rockhouse Bar and Nightclub celebrated its “First Annual Anniversary of the Late Grand Opening Party from Last Year,” on Thursday, March 25, with a rock and roll-themed bash. Local celebrities Anthony Cools, Angelica Bridges and the cast of FANTASY walked the electric blue carpet, and guests enjoyed mini corn dogs, fries, and other “junk food” one might expect from the Las Vegas Strip’s only “ultra dive bar.” The City of Las Vegas awarded Rockhouse owner, Jonathan Fine, with a proclamation naming March 25 “Rockhouse Day.” Jonathan Fine is the owner of Fine Entertainment, which will be opening its second hospitality venture with PBR Rock Bar at Miracle Mile Shops early this summer.

MASTER MAGICIAN ORDERS MASTER CAKE - Master Magician Lance Burton presents a 150-pound birthday cake to production stage manager Allen Bracken with cast and crew.When Lance found out Allen only had one more year before he turned nifty 50 he ordered the cake. Freed's Bakery was up to the gargantuan baking job and pulled it off. It will air on a new upcoming show called "Fabulous Cakes" on The Learning Channel in June. This one-hour show will have three segments and is a spin-off of "Cake Boss."
