DWTS's Maksim Chmerlovskiy at Tabu!!

This past week, Dancing with the Stars heartthrob Maksim Chmerlovskiy hosted a scintillating evening at Tabú Ultra Lounge at the MGM Grand. The DWTS contestant brought his charm and swagger to the premier party spot where he reveled with partygoers and turned up the heat. Chmerlovskiy, always dapper – showed up to Tabú without his dancing partner (and reported love interest), ESPN reporter Erin Andrews. He politely dodged personal questions about their relationship, keeping everything professional. However, Chmerlovskiy was joined by some of Vegas’ top notch dancers from Le Reve at Wynn Las Vegas. There wasn’t much dancing going on last night for the bad boy of the ballroom as he chose to sit in one of the lush VIP area’s catching up with old friends. Chmerlovskiy’s Vegas vacation was brief as he heads back to Los Angeles to resume his rigorous training with Andrews. Before stepping into the club, he was seen sharing his predictions of this year’s DWTS with VIP host’s and a group of bachelorette’s saying, “This year Erin and I are taking home the mirrored ball trophy!!” The pair made their dancing debut on March 22 as season 10 premiered on ABC. Battle of the Brushes at Blush Boutique - Laura Croft was there! See Barbie Lady Gaga!

Blush Boutique Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas hosted its Fourth Annual Battle of the Brushes Competition. The theme for this year’s event was “I’m a Barbie Girl,” and was sponsored by Las Vegas based cosmetics company Rain Cosmetics. Competitors included representatives from the Salon at Aria, Red Rock Spa, Christophe Beverly Hills, Eleven Spa Vegas, Spa Rio and Color Salon. Playboy Playmate Laura Croft judged the competition alongside Rain Cosmetics owners Rain Andreani and Lori Montoya. In the end, it was reigning champion Natasha Chamberlin from Color Salon who took home the winning prize for her Lady Gaga Barbie. Janessa Aguirre from Eleven Spa Vegas came in second place.

Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is searching for ushertainers and musical talent for 2010 racing season

The Bullring, Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s NASCAR-sanctioned 3/8-mile asphalt oval, is issuing a casting call for ushertainers and musical talent for its Saturday-night events during the 2010 season. Did Simon tell you to go back to flipping burgers? Do you sincerely believe you should be headlining in a Las Vegas casino? Don’t give up! Become a Bullring Ushertainer! This could be your big break to trumpet your unique talents in front of a captive audience. The Bullring is looking for performers who can think outside the box, aren’t afraid to perform in front of a packed house and are able to create characters that will keep fans laughing in the aisles. The winner will receive a paid position as a season-long Bullring Ushertainer (and you also will be issued your very own autograph card). To enter, upload a video of your character to YouTube and e-mail the link to thebullring@lvms.com. Be sure you are in character the entire time and remember: the Bullring is a family facility.
