Are you like us? My furbrother and I stand around and watch Mom with a glazed look in our eyes when there is food involved! Waiting for a small crumb or morsel to fall..BOL!! So here is one of our all time favorite snacks that we just love and absolutely drool over, so if you want to make your fur happy...bake these!!!
Woof Woof Chunky Peanut Treats
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 cup natural chunky peanut butter
1 cup non-fat milk
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheets. In a large bowl combine flour and baking power. In another bowl combine peanut butter and milk. Add the milk and peanut butter to the dry incredients and mix well. On a floured surface, turn out the knead. Roll out 1/4 inch thick, and cut out using cookie cutters (I use a bone shapped one!) Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until lightly browned. This also depends upon the thickness. After the treats are baked place on rack to cool.
Be sure to store in airtight containers. Natural peanut butter does not contain hydrogenated oil or sugar so it makes a more healthful treat for your best friend! (Origin www.getrecipe.com)
