Special guest DJ Bob Sinclar played to an energetic crowd at the property’s recently opened Vanity nightclub. Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. soaked in Sinclar’s set from one of Vanity’s 50 intimate VIP booths. After leaving the club, Mayweather, along with hip hop singer Ray J and other friends, headed over to Mr. Lucky’s 24/7 where he enjoyed a bowl of chicken noodle soup.

In each of the eight Spa Villa Suites (six of which are duplex suites), the great room is highlighted by a floating coffer ceiling which extends above the “Spa Bed” and leads to the outdoor private patio. The patio with lounge seating, fire pit and plunge pool provides a tranquil sanctuary. Should one choose, the private patios then lead out to the main Hard Rock pool area. On Friday night, Vegas-based Imagine Dragons started off the New Year with a bang playing alongside 100 Monkeys at the Beauty Bar downtown. 100 Monkeys is the band of Twilight start Jackson Rathbone who has been frequenting Las Vegas lately and used the city as the launch for his band’s tour. 2010 Celebrity Wrap - Up - TAO & LAVO - Who, where, what!

• Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester showed fans a new side Saturday night as the actress and singer-songwriter took the stage at TAO and wowed the crowd with four songs. Meester arrived on the red carpet in a Nina Ricci dress and Derek Lam shoes, but later in the night she was clad in all black as she crawled across the stage to start the show. Meester began her electro-pop set with the Cobra Starship song “Good Girls Go Bad,” a song she is featured on, and then followed up with “Somebody to Love”, “Playing Games” and “Your Love’s a Drug”. After her performance she headed to a sky box table in the moat overlooking the entire club where she celebrated her last night before heading back to the Gossip Girl set with her band, dancers and crew. Earlier in the evening the entire group dined at LAVO with an Italian feast including favorites such as the Kobe Meatball, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parmagiano and more. Meester toasted her crew at dinner, thanking them all for joining her for the best week of her life.

• Also spotted at TAO, Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg along with Nicky’s parents Rick and Kathy Hilton. The family caught Meester’s performance from a table on the dance floor after having dinner at LAVO earlier in the evening. Just a few tables down on TAO’s dance floor was Travis Pastrana, who was celebrating breaking the world record for the longest rally car jump over 200 feet of water in Long Beach, CA on New Year’s Eve.

• Deryck Whibley returned to TAO for the third night in a row with a table in the nightclub, and David Spade was spotted dining in the restaurant early in the evening. Spade, who always eats at TAO when in town for his shows at The Venetian, had one of his favorite dishes, Kung Pao Chicken and his signature drink of Jack Daniels neat and Diet Pepsi without ice.

• Over at LAVO the Tapout crew played host to a post fight party in the nightclub after owners Punkass and Skyscrape dined at TAO. Rashad Evans, who defeated Thiago Silva at the night’s earlier UFC fight, celebrated his win at LAVO.

• Club goers at LAVO were in for a surprise when MC Hammer showed up just after 2 am. The crowd went crazy when DJ Reach played Hammer’s hits “U Can’t Touch This” and “2 Legit 2 Quit” on repeat.

• Leona Lewis showed up for dinner at Yellowtail this holiday week -12/30 with some friends and her handsome boyfriend , she was on a crutch from falling off a horse! She looked beautiful in Betsy Johnson , talking about how she doesn’t drink or wear leather!

• Singing Sensation Robin Thicke dined at FIX with wife Paula who looked stunning in Herve Lager , and father Allen and some other friends. Robin was wearing Tom Ford sunglasses and a Burberry tux as he counted down NYE …he sang a few songs from his new album sex therapy , and 5000 copies were distributed to hotel guests at the Bellagio . Inside gosspip - Robin and Leona got along so well they want to work together!

• The scene at JET is always a party however it looked like Pete Wentz had partied a little too much with a black eye and he was a tad belligerent. He could barely count properly..humm

• Thanks to DJ skeet skeet the night was a total success. Maybe Pete was more concerned with drinking and staying out of photos with women since Ashley wasn’t on hand.

• On The Haze home front Dj Tiesto wowed the crowd with his massive electronic sound. Track after track of a 4 ½ hours of crowd pleasing sounds. When the energy was at its peak a 10 foot glowing robot from Ibiza Spain “the kryoman” came out of nowhere he had lasers and c02 cannons and confetti! Spinning above the crowd ….unbelievable! KRYOMAN will be here for the month

• Tiestos words which were tweeted “doing the sound check at Haze, this club is the most beautiful one I have ever seen!”

Good Morning Pawpals!!!

• Well my furst thoughts of 2010 and they in no way include any type of resolution! Why?What is there to give up? In my Mom's eye I am perfect and can never really do any wrong..BOL!!! Little does she know.....

• After pawing around on the net it is amazing how many celebrities own Poms! Can you believe that one of our Favorite Actors - Keanu Reeves has a Pom?? Well we were beyond thrilled, except could not find any pictures anywhere of him with Fluffy:( So if anyone knows where to find one..well just let us know!

• The Pomeranian is part of the Spitz family and was originally bred in Eastern Europe. Generations ago the Pom was a larger dog than the toy breed that they are now. In fact our furbrother T Bear is a "Big Pom" meaning that once in a while you have a throwback to the original size which occurs as they are descended from four large dogs: Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Samoyed, all Spitz's. The smaller Pom that you see now is due to the fact that Queen Victoria adopted a small red pom and we poms were subsequently bred down to the toy size (4lbs - 8 lbs.)

• So if you are thinking of acquiring a loyal, love able, dependable furever friend, consider a Pom. We do wonderful in Condos, and Apts. However since we do have a double coat, regular grooming and brushing is required! Plus even though we are small in size, we are large in heart and in our mind's eye not 6 lbs. but as large as a great Dane:)
