Tennis pros Bob and Mike Bryan were spotted dining at LAVO Monday night. The twins, who have won 56 tour titles, were joined by friends and sat down to an Italian feast including Sea Bass, Veal Milanese and the favorite Kobe Meatball. Dinner was capped off with Oreo Zeppole and Gelato. LAVO’s signature Saggio cocktail, with Stoli Blueberry, Sage and Fresh Lemon Juice was a favorite of the table.

LAS VEGAS MORNING RADIO SHOW COLLECTS 1,525 BIKES, 9.5 SEMI TRUCKS FULL OF The toy drive collected 1,525 bikes, 9.5 50-foot semi trucks full of toys and a record-breaking $93,150 in gift cards and cash, all of which will be gifted to children who may have not otherwise received presents this holiday season. The drive partnered with HELP of Southern Nevada who will distribute the toys to over 13,000 children and 30 charities.

On December 3, 98.5 KLUC Morning Show Host Chet Buchanan, moved into a tent atop a 30-foot scaffolding, where he remained 24 hours a day through wind, rain and below-average temperatures for the 12 days of toy drive. He broadcasted live throughout the day, encouraging listeners to come down and donate. Over the past 11 years, Chet has spent more than four months of his life living in a tent on a scaffold in the spirit of collecting toys for those in need.

“It is so amazing to see the Las Vegas community come together to be a part of something as big as this,” says Buchanan. “When you’re there, it’s magic; the semi trucks lined up, the sea of bikes, the gift card count… it’s indescribable.”

This year’s toy drive didn’t go without star sightings. Prior to the BYU victory over Oregon State at the 2009 Maaco Bowl Las Vegas last night at Sam Boyd Stadium, two of the smoothest male voices on The Strip, Josh Strickland of PEEPSHOW and Terry Fator of Terry Fator & His Cast of Thousands, brought the crowd to its feet. Singing “God Bless America” and “The Star Spangled Banner,” respectively, Strickland and Fator started the game off on a high note as military personnel unfurled a flag that covered the football field. Terry Fator was the official show sponsor of the 2009 Maaco Bowl Las Vegas, with both teams attending the show on Saturday 12/19 to kick off the week’s festivities.
