Tennis pros Bob and Mike Bryan were spotted dining at LAVO Monday night. The twins, who have won 56 tour titles, were joined by friends and sat down to an Italian feast including Sea Bass, Veal Milanese and the favorite Kobe Meatball. Dinner was capped off with Oreo Zeppole and Gelato. LAVO’s signature Saggio cocktail, with Stoli Blueberry, Sage and Fresh Lemon Juice was a favorite of the table.

The cocktail is topped with homemade whipped cream for an extra dollop of holiday cheer.

Kristen’s Hottest Toddy:

12 raspberries

3 orange wheels

4 Constant Comment tea bags

3 cups of Captain Morgan spiced rum

1 cup of rock candy syrup

3 cups water

Whipped cream

Served with a raspberry and a mint sprig

Using a coffee pot, place the raspberries, orange wheels and tea bags in a coffee filter. Add the rum, rock candy syrup and water to the coffee pot reservoir. Brew the ingredients. Pour into a glass mug and top with whipped cream, a raspberry and a mint sprig or garnish.

Epicurean Charitable Foundation Las Vegas (ECFLV) kicked off the holiday season with the foundation’s first annual Student Soiree on Wednesday, Dec. 9. Students took a break from finals week and joined their ECFLV mentors to dine on fine Italian cuisine courtesy of Pips Cucina and Wine Bar.
