Winter Wonderland in the Middle of the Boulder Strip! Sam's Town Experience!

Mystic Falls Park Lights up the Holiday Season with a Winter Wonderland Experience November 26 thru January 2 Mystic Falls Park, located inside Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall has always been a wonder to behold. Beginning November 26 and running thru January 2, the Western pioneer world will be transformed into a fantasy winter wonderland experience. Upon entering Mystic Falls, guests will be greeted with festive garland streams, whimsical snow covered lampposts and more than 50 glimmering trees adorned in lights. A dazzling 30-foot professionally decorated Christmas tree is sure to amaze and inspire holiday cheer. As the holiday show begins, three new polar bear scenes and a river scene with two fishing polar bears come to life in their snowy surroundings. Like in the Western snowy mountains, snow floats from the sky capping the waterfall and mountain range. All the while, light images and shooting water dance to traditional holiday music including “Frosty the Snowman,” “Let It Snow” and “The Nutcracker,” placing guests in the middle of a true winter wonderland experience in the heart of the Boulder Strip. “This winter wonderland transformation has occurred every year for 15 years,” said Mike Garms, Sam’s Town Las Vegas’ Vice President and General Manager. “The combination of music, sparkling holiday lights, animated animals and the light show are sure to make this a magical experience for visitors and locals alike.” The 15 minute free winter show will take place at 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. daily. The New Rush Tower at the Golden Nugget! Great Pics and The Mayor!

Unbelievably superb! The new Rush Tower at the Golden Nugget opened on Nov. 20th. The $150-million development will totally transform downtown.

“Rush Tower will now define the ultimate Las Vegas experience providing exceptional accommodations as well as add to the already supreme dining opportunities and exceed the unparalleled customer service already delivered to our guests,” said Tilman Fertitta, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Landry’s Restaurants, Inc., which owns the property. “The tower is the latest in our ongoing renovation and expansion projects at the Golden Nugget, which now total more than $300-million, and which will certainly up the ante for other properties in Las Vegas.”

Guests arriving at Rush Tower will see the new landscaped entrance at First and Carson Streets. Entering the lobby, they will see a floating reservation desk with private check-in service for Rush Tower. The back of the check in has a magnificent 75,000-gallon tropical aquarium fish tank.

During their stay, guests can take full advantage of the warm Las Vegas sun as they relax and enjoy a refreshing cocktail by the tower’s two-level, infinity-edge pool. Surrounded by six plush cabanas and covered lounging areas, complete with day beds, this pool area creates the perfect desert oasis. The pool adjoins the third floor of The Tank, a year round outdoor swimming pool complete with 200,000-gallon, live shark aquarium, which was voted one of the “Top Ten Pools in the World” by Forbes Traveler.

The casino is located in the lobby of Rush Tower. There is a retail area which includes d’Oro fine watches and jewelry and high-end apparel by Nineteen Forty-Six Boutique.
