Prince Reigns! Purple Reign coming to Hooters!

Hooters Casino Hotel is please to announce that Purple Reign the Ultimate Prince Tribute Show will be performing in the Night Owl Showroom starting September 4th. This energetic show will make Prince Fans go crazy when they hear songs like “Purple Rain” and “When Doves Cry”. Emmy Award-winning comedian and Grammy-nominated artist, Wayne Brady, celebrated his extended residency as a headliner at The Venetian Showroom and new CBS Show "Let's Make A Deal" at ABSOLUT Saturday at the exclusive daytime luxury pool experience, AZURE at The Palazzo. While relaxing in his air-conditioned cabana, Brady's party dined on Wolfgang Puck's gourmet food and quenched their thirst with ABSOLUT Vodka cocktails, Vueve Clicquot Champagne and Arnold Palmers. Brady stayed cool in the hot Vegas sun in a white shirt and white pants. DJ Marc played two songs from Brady's Grammy-nominated album, titled A Long Time Coming, including "FWB" remix and "Back in the Day." Give a big hand to...American Casino & Entertainment - Winter Coat Collection Success!

Community Connections, a charitable program run through American Casino & Entertainment Properties, LLC, (ACEP) conducted a coat drive throughout the month of July. Employees at all four of ACEP’s properties (Stratosphere Hotel & Casino, Arizona Charlie’s Decatur, Arizona Charlie’s Boulder and Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nev.) were able to collect hundreds of coats for adults and children. The children’s coats were donated to each of the four properties’ adopted schools – Fremont Middle School, Doris Hancock Elementary, Will Beckley Elementary and Coyote Canyon Elementary. Coats were also donated to the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, Praise Chapel and the Golden Valley Food Bank. All the donated coats were dry-cleaned free of charge by Mission Linen.

What a week-end! It happens at The Palms!

Palms Pool & Bungalows inside Palms Casino Resort hosted the 3rd Annual Midsummer Night's Dream - A Pirate's Guilty Pleasure Saturday night (8.15.09), luring in the masses to party poolside amongst Sin City's sexiest pirates and wenches. Amongst the crowd was record producer, DJ and guitarist Benji Madden. He arrived with a group of ten and enjoyed the scene from a cabana where he sipped on Red Bull and FIJI Water. Earlier that evening, Madden enjoyed dinner with friends inside N9NE Steakhouse. The table shared signature appetizers including rock shrimp and sashimi N9NE. For his main course, he feasted on the weekly special, monkfish, "a poor man's lobster.". For dessert, the group shared the signature s'mores. Also spotted amongst the crowd at the pool was X Games professional skateboarder Jake Brown, accompanied by his lady friend. They were seen hanging out in a cabana enjoying shots of Ketel One and Harlem. In another cabana, comedian and actor Pauly Shore sipped on Red Bull and Ketel One with friends. Upstairs in Moon Nightclub, former NFL athlete Jamie Sharper partied at a VIP table with eight friends. Renowned hip-hop and R&B DJ Jazzy Jeff spun on the turntables at Rain Nightclub inside Palms Casino Resort Friday night (8.14.09). Partying amongst the crowd was X Games professional skateboarder Jake Brown who was accompanied by 15 friends. They sat at a VIP table on the dance floor and sipped on Ketel One mixed drinks. Actress and country singer Beverley Mitchell was spotted hanging out with her husband and a few friends. Rumer Willis - Birthday Blowout at TAO!

Rumer Willis celebrated her 21st birthday Saturday night at TAO Las Vegas joined by her entire family, including Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Bruce Willis and Emma Heming, and younger sisters Tallulah and Scout. Rumer arrived with boyfriend Micah Alberti looking glamorous in a vintage dress and Fendi shoes and sparkling in vintage jewels. Her co-stars in her upcoming film, Sorority Row, including Audrina Patridge and her boyfriend Corey Bohan, Briana Evigan, Margo Harshman and Jamie Chung, along with close friend Matt Dallas all joined to ring in her milestone birthday. After a dinner filled with TAO favorites including the Chilean Sea Bass, Tofu Lettuce Wraps, and Crispy Rice, the official birthday began when the clock struck midnight. The party toasted with Patron Platinum and a special cake was brought out made to replicate her favorite berry cake from a bakery in LA. After the candles were blown out, Bruce and Demi hugged, sharing in their daughter’s excitement. Rumer’s entire party, minus the not yet 21 Tallulah and Scout, headed upstairs to TAO nightclub to continue the celebration. The large group, including Soleil Moon Frye and her husband, Jason Goldberg, who is Ashton’s business partner, Holly Madison and Robert Earl took over several tables in the VIP Moat section. Rumer was pulled up on to the catwalk and surprised with a second cake delivered by showgirls while a classic Vegas Elvis impersonator sang happy birthday. Later, a Madonna impersonator brought over a bottle of Cristal—Madonna and Rumer share the same birthday. Rumer and her Sorority Row cast mates partied at TAO until the wee hours of the morning, with Rumer saying she felt so lucky to be celebrating her birthday at TAO surrounded by her family and friends. Arriving around 4 am to TAO was rapper Nelly, along with several other up and coming rappers. The group drank Moet Nectar Rose, Patron Silver and Grey Goose and jumped on the microphone and entertained the club crowd until nearly 5 am. Earlier in the day Audrina Patridge and boyfriend Corey Bohan were spotted soaking up the rays at TAO Beach. Danny Masterson (That 70’s Show) and a friend dined at Dos Caminos inside The Palazzo in Las Vegas on Sunday night. Tortilla soup, along with a platter of carbon, asada and pescado tacos and the trio of ceviche were washed down with beer and El Camino margaritas. Masterson asked many questions about the restaurant and its David Rockwell design, and was thrilled to find discover the locations of the three Dos Caminos restaurants in New York.
