M Resort Shines Spotlight on Health: August 13

The M Resort Spa Casino and the M Pharmacy, in partnership with the Southern Nevada Health District, Bayer HealthCare and Desert Springs Hospital, will host a free, one-day health fair on Thursday, August 13 from 1-8 p.m. The fair is open to the public and will be held in the Milan Ballroom at the M Resort. A variety of vendors will be participating in the fair offering health screenings and resources including screenings for blood pressure, glucose (blood sugar), bone density, foot, vision and skin cancer. Uniquely positioned to serve the health needs of the surrounding community, the M Resort features a full-service pharmacy, open 365 days a year from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. In addition to filling prescriptions, the pharmacy also provides proactive health screenings. The 600 square foot M Pharmacy consists of two full-time pharmacists, three technicians and two clerks. Guests staying at the resort have the option of visiting the pharmacy to pick-up their prescriptions or having them delivered, whether they are in their rooms or on the casino floor.
