Fireworks at the Springs Preserve!

This year, Las Vegas’ favorite and most patriotic pops concert has a new home: the Springs Preserve!

Join us on Saturday, July 4 for "Star Spangled Spectacular" as we celebrate the birth of our nation with a fun and rousing line-up of patriotic music performed by the Las Vegas Philharmonic, under the direction of Conductor David Itkin.

Master of Ceremonies for the evening is popular local television and radio personality Nate Tannenbaum and Congresswoman Shelley Berkley will make a special appearance. The Las Vegas Philharmonic will be joined by a capella group Mosaic (winner of MTV's "Top Pop Group"), who will perform the national anthem as well as entertain between Philharmonic sets. The concert will culminate with a light show grand finale. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m. in our beautiful outdoor amphitheater. Tickets are limited and available for purchase online and at the Preserve box office.

There are three ticket levels offered: VIP Package – $82.50 per person Includes pre-concert VIP reception in the ORIGEN Rotunda with complimentary gourmet hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine service, and an exclusive tabled seating area in the amphitheater. Springs Preserve annual passholders receive a discount of $7.50 off VIP or reserved amphitheater seating. Children 12 and under receive $7.50 off amphitheater seating or grounds pass (cannot be combined with passholder discount). Death Defying Magic on the Strip!

DAREDEVIL Magician Steve Wyrick And Club Tattoo Co-Owner Chester Bennington Attempt “Death Drop” Escape

In celebration of Club Tattoo’s grand opening inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, daredevil magician Steve Wyrick will perform a terrifying “Death Drop” escape featuring Chester Bennington, co-owner of Club Tattoo and Linkin Park frontman.

At 8:30 p.m., head to the Miracle Mile Shops’ southern Las Vegas Boulevard entrance (by Hawaiian Tropic Zone) to witness a “Death Drop” escape performed by Daredevil Magician Steve Wyrick. Bennington, assisted by members of his new side project Dead by Sunrise, will lock and shackle Wyrick into one of the band’s equipment boxes. Connected to a crane by only a few thin ropes, the box will be dangled over a bed of 500 flaming spikes 80 feet below. The ropes will then be set on fire, forcing Wyrick to make his escape before the last rope breaks and sends him plummeting to a fiery death. Wyrick will have to jump 20 feet off a burning box to a safety rope and rappel down while avoiding the spikes and tremendous heat. This type of escape has never been attempted by an illusionist anywhere in the world.

Attention Lovebirds on the Loose! Hilary Duff...

Lovebirds Hilary Duff and her hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie were spotted at LAVO Italian restaurant and nightclub inside The Palazzo Tuesday night. The couple were part of a large group of about thirty people celebrating a friend’s birthday. The pair started at dinner with a feast that included the famous giant Kobe Meatball and Chicken Parmagiano. After dinner the couple and their friends made their way to a dance floor table in the nightclub where they wasted no time dancing to the sounds of DJ Five and getting the party started. Shortly after their arrival a whole team of LAVO cocktail waitresses were spotted bringing eight bottles of Cristal to the table. Late Wednesday afternoon the couple and their large crew were also spotted at a cabana at TAO Beach having lunch and a few drinks.

Don't Know how we missed this! Rampage Jackson vs. DJ Clinton Sparks!

Last Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas: UFC's Rampage Jackson surprised the crowd at Body English by getting up on stage with friends and “making it rain” by spreading out $1,000 cash. DJ Clinton Sparks then called out Rampage. Both Sparks and Jackson took off their shirts and faced down on stage. The crowd went crazy while Rampage playfully threw Clinton around.
