Lola Belle - Paws on the Ground - Heaven Can Wait

Lola Belle Canine Correspondent
Hans the Cutie!
Fabulous HCW Volunteers
Last Saturday night I had such a wonderful time! As a Canine Correspondent it is my job to bring you infurmation that has to do with animals and events that take place here in Las Vegas. We went out to the Heaven Can Wait Gimme Shelter Benefit Concert at Lake Las Vegas Resort featuring Jumping Jack Flash (great band!). The turn out was fabulous and I made so many new friends and if you take a look you will see a picture of the dachshund Hans that I was flirting with, he was a cutie! The benefit’s goal was to raise money and awareness for the new project which is a high volume/high quality/no cost spay and neuter clinic (not sure what that is but they tell me it is VERY IMPORTANT!) This clinic will be able to help over 13,000 furs annually!! I know that every animal deserves a loving and furever home and this will help cut down on the number of unwanted pets in Nevada. I asked the wonderful HCW staff, how people can help out and they said that money/donations are always welcome but so is volunteering. So if you can spare any of the above it sure would be welcome. The clinic is nearing completion but when asked what items would be on the wish list the answer was, “Construction items! Any type!” So hopefully with so many of the construction projects in the Valley; someone will have some items to donate!! It would be greatly appreciated and you would help out so many of us furs! Please (BOL – Barking out Loud) remember if you have anything to donate call Heaven Can Wait – 702-227-5555 or go online to http://www/hwcs.org And a big pommie kiss to all of the volunteers and also to Lake Las Vegas!! OH almost furgot…they are having a “Mother’s Day Celebration” at the Stirling Club on Saturday…check the website for prices. XOXO Lola Belle Paws on the Ground – Canine Correspondent

"Cinco de Wilmer" - TAO/LAVO

Wilmer Valderrama rang in Cinco de Mayo Las Vegas style at LAVO inside The Palazzo Tuesday night. Fresh off three months of filming, Valderrama arrived looking fitter than ever, showing off his svelte look in a tight black t-shirt. Having spent the day at TAO Beach, he and a group of friends first hit the restaurant to give LAVO's new Italian menu a try. Heard raving about the food, their meal included Kobe Meatballs, Seafood Alfredo and Rib Eye. After dinner they headed up to the nightclub to really start the party. Jumping on the microphone to get the crowd going, Valderrama declared, "No Cinco de Mayo is complete until you hear the mariachis!" On command, the mariachi band began to play, followed by a Latin set from DJ FIVE. He kept the crowd going, making sure "Cinco de Wilmer" would be a party not to be forgotten.

Gotta Love - Hooters Casino!

Yesterday, Ricky Hatton was spotted recovering from the fight on Saturday night at Hooters Casino Hotel. Hatton seemed fit and chipper as he dinned in the Hooters Restaurant.
I'm sure the beautiful 2009Hooters Calendar Girls that were accompanying him might have had something to do with his upbeat demeanor. Also spotted with Hatton at Hooters was Joey Chestnut. Joey is also known as "Jaws" to those who follow competitive eating. Joey is currently ranked first in the world by the International Federation of Competitive Eating. Joey was spied eating his fair share of Hooters Wings on Sunday. Joey was also seen partying with the 2009 Hooters Calendar Girls at Dixie's Dam Bar on Friday night where he showed the girls a few cool dance moves.

What Celebrities are doing! Brooke Hogan - Kelly Pavlik

The Ghost) hung out at Playboy Club and Moon Nightclub inside Palms Casino Resort Tuesday night (5.5.09). Pavlik and a group of guys arrived at Playboy Club around 9 p.m. and made their way to Moon Nightclub once it opened. They sat at a table and drank Ketel One and Red Bulls.
