Saturday night TAO Las Vegas once again was the hot spot of choice. Mark McGrath, in town for perform at Perry Palooza and his best friend, Terminator director McG dined at TAO, feasting on favorites from the Asian bistro. Nearby, fighter Winky Wright ordered a twenty ounce steak, needing nourishment after losing a twelve round battle to Paul Williams earlier in the evening.

Locals Favorite - Frankie's Tiki Room!!

Frankie’s Tiki Room hosted a photo shoot on Saturday (4.11.09) for the upcoming 2010 Frankie’s Tiki Room calendar. The first month will be a recreation of famed tiki painting “Ruby’s Dilemma” by Tom Laura AKA BigToe. Model Monica Renee, who served as the inspiration behind the original painting, once again posed for the photograph next to a life-sized carving of the tiki monster. Renee is renowned for her role in the pin-up industry. The artist BigToe, was also on hand along with Frankie’s Tiki Room owner P Moss, to discuss the painting concept and watch the work of art come to life. The painting “Ruby’s Dilemma” by artist Tom Laura AKA BigToe can be found inside Frankie’s Tiki Room.
