Every night LAX is in party mode sparkling with celebrities. BUT last night it was off the wall! The biggest April fool’s party was inside LAX Nightclub last night as Mini Kiss entertained the packed house with an electrifying performance. Mini Kiss took to the stage around 1 a.m. and kept the crowd rocking until the early morning hours.

Taking in the scene from a luxe VIP loft with a handful of friends was former boxing champ Vinny Paz. Also spotted taking in the show was actor/comedian Eddie Griffin and singer Suzie McNeil who performed for a private banquet at LAX earlier in the evening.

Hello Paw Pals!!

This past week-end many pet lovers came out to celebrate the love of their pets and also to share their love with us four legged furs! Want to know the one sure way to be a winner in Las Vegas? It was a winning paw for everyone at the Best Friends Paws for a Cause adoption event.The day’s festivities included vendors, a raffle, face painters, a balloon artist and other entertainment.

Celebrities such as Frank Marino and Wes Winters, Zowie Bowie and even Las Vegas's own Dolly Parton were there to lend a helping hand. A great day and many happy paws were crossed in anticipation of finding furever homes, and they did!! Below is a list of the other adoption/rescue agencies that pawticipated! Please remember that many other furs are still looking for that furever home.

Keeping it Real at LAVO! VH1 Style..

Reality stars were spotted at LAVO inside The Palazzo Tuesday night. Matsuflex from VH1’s Tool Academy along with Trevor Lord and Matt Drag from MTV’s Double Shot at Love had a VIP table in the nightclub, just in front of the stage. The group had a great time at LAVO’s industry night with DJ Five, enjoying Belvedere and Grey Goose cocktails with Red Bull and cranberry mixers. Throughout the night the guys were constantly approached by girls wanting to have their picture taken with them.

Another Starry Night - PURE Nightclub Las Vegas

Sin City’s number one night spot hosted the hottest industry party on The Strip last night as world renowned DJ AM worked his magic on the wheels of steel for a night of non-stop music mayhem. DJ AM sipped on Fiji water and Redbull as entertained the sea of partiers all night long. Spotted taking in the exciting scene was Olympic sprinter Maurice Greene who set up at a table on the dance floor. Greene and his party of friends sipped on Belvedere Vodka and Redbull as they danced the night away at the mega club. Professional poker player Phil Ivey and mixed martial artist Tito Ortiz soaked up the spotlight from a table on the club’s VIP stage where the pals enjoyed champagne and cocktails of Belvedere Vodka. Lucky fans also caught a glimpse of professional boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. partying on the main VIP stage, surrounded by his closest friends and family members. Also spending the evening at PURE was former NBA star Antoine Walker who was accompanied by a guest and enjoyed Belvedere Vodka and Patron Tequila as he partied the night away.

New Beginnings Ranch..A Day (okay) Hours in the Saddle!

Yes we do live in the land of Las Vegas which is synonymous with the strip and gambling! Sometimes though it is good to get away from all of this; if only for a few hours and realize how some people give their "all" to make a difference. Nancy invited me to go riding with her and the Burtons. Yippee riding! Had not been on the back of a horse for let's see..TEN YEARS! But you know it is like a bike, once you get on it all comes back.

I rode Skittles and what a sweet tempered even paced horse to "relearn" on! Of course getting on Skittles well I will spare you those images!! Not to graceful..(putting in mildly) Well once back in the saddle so to speak...LOVED it!

But enough about me..let me tell you about New Beginnings Ranch which is owned and operated by Janet Faye and she is simply amazing. Check out the website for background!!

What impressed and moved me is her work with ADD children and the blind pony Missy who is a white ball of fur with four legs and 22 (hardly young for a pony, 66 in human years!) It was an emotional experience hearing her talk about the children and how once in the saddle, they become transformed by the bond between horse and rider. The children care about guiding Missy so she does not "bump" into the walls and they become more confident and focused. They learn to communicate better and some have even won ribbons in competition riding Missy. I cannot even begin to imagine how proud the parents must feel and how the children are filled with joy and a sense of belonging! Janet has also rescued horses and rehabilitated them when everyone else had given up on them.

Such a worthy cause! We need as a community to support these types of programs rather than spend oh say a million or two on a "Mob Museum, sorry Mayor Goodman!" Janet also works with training horses, trail rides, riding lessons. This was an experience that will last much more than a few hours in my mind.

Bowling for NHRA??

Bowling and autographs: April 2 is a busy day for NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series stars in Las Vegas.

Here is what is going on with this!

Thursday, April 2, will be a busy day for the stars of the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series in Las Vegas. The drivers will be in town for the 10th annual NHRA http://www.summitracing.com/ Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and will participate in a number of festivities to promote the event. Many of the world's fastest drivers will participate in the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships at the Cashman Center on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. One of the oldest major competitions in U.S. history, the USBC Open Championships brings together the best bowlers from around the world to compete in a five-month tournament.

During that time the USBC www.bowl.com identifies and rewards the most elite keglers in a variety of classifications and different competitions. Three five-man NHRA teams comprised of Top Fuel Dragster, Funny Car and Pro Stock drivers will compete in the team event as special guests of the USBC. The three NHRA teams include the NHRA Floppers, NHRA Eliminators and NHRA Holeshots. Several of the participating drivers are avid bowlers with competitive averages and high single- game bests, including Robert Hight, who drives the Auto Club Ford Mustang for John Force Racing. He lists his single-game high at 279. Fellow Funny Car star Del Worsham, driver of the Al-Anabi Racing Toyota Solara, also is addicted to bowling. He had a pair of bowling lanes installed in his home and lists a 234 as his career best for a single game. Pro Stock's Allen Johnson was the Tennessee Junior State Champion in 1974.

The NHRA Floppers team will consist of Robert Hight, Del Worsham, Jeff Arend, Jack Beckman and Matt Hagan.
