Irish Pub Rí Rá Las Vegas July Events & Specials

All season, Rí Rá Las Vegas patrons can toast to summer with Shandy beer cocktails ($5.50), a tangy mix of Irish lemonade and beer. Guests can enjoy two variations of this refreshing drink – Smithwicks and Red Lemonade or Harp and White Lemonade.

In honor of Fourth of July, the pub features its Yank Burger ($12.95), three-quarters of a pound of all-American beef, topped with American cheese and smoked bacon on a toasted sesame seed bun. The entrée is served with firecracker fries and includes a choice of side garden or Caesar salad.

The Black Donnellys is a triad / folk rock band consisting of Dave Browne and Dave Rooney. An exciting new ballad group from the heart of Ireland, Drops of Green is made up of Lee Campion (guitar, five-string banjo, accordion and vocals), Ross Hennessy (mandolin, banjo, whistles and vocals), James Ring (bass guitar, guitar, bodhran and vocals) and Barry Kavanagh (banjo, bodhran, guitar and vocals). Hailing from Laois and Kilkenny, Ireland, the four lads have all played in other folk and ballad groups over the years and have now joined together to put their own stamp on Irish folk music.

RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT has announced that bassist Hugh McDonald has joined its official lineup at LVH – LAS VEGAS HOTEL & CASINO. The esteemed musician, best known for his longtime work with Bon Jovi, has also performed throughout his career with music icons including Alice Cooper, Ringo Starr, and more.

Before joining Bon Jovi, McDonald was the bass player for the David Bromberg Band, touring world-wide and playing on many Bromberg albums. He was one of the studio musicians that recorded Bon Jovi's original first demo for the song "Runaway.” McDonald has also recorded with Willie Nelson, Richie Sambora, Steve Goodman, and Lita Ford.

Greg Howe, current member of Maragold and former guitarist for Michael Jackson, Enrique Iglesias, *NSYNC, Justin Timberlake and more, was spotted enjoying Blue Man Group at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino on Thursday, June 26. The world-renowned artist enjoyed the show and went backstage afterwards for a private VIP meet-and-greet with cast members.

The lady who can do it all took in the popular Boyz II Men show on Saturday night. Tyra Banks and friends had fun watching the performance and afterwards sent backstage for a photo opportunity. Tyra  is a well-known  American television personality, producer, author, actress, and former model.

She is also the  creator and host of the UPN/The CW reality television show America's Next Top Model, co-creator of True Beauty, and was the host of her own talk show, The Tyra Banks Show.

Kraftwerk's Electric Music & 3D Concert Bi Hit At The Chelsea In Vegas!

Considered a pioneer of electronic music, multimedia project Kraftwerk brought its 3-D concert experience to the mophie Stage inside The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas last night (Saturday, June 28).  Equipped with 3-D glasses, the energetic crowd was taken on a perfectly synchronized audio-visual journey that kicked off with “The Robots” and continued late into the night..

               

Inspired by some of the world’s most iconic venues, The Chelsea is a 40,000 square-foot transformable space featuring remnant brick tiling, an eclectic collection of stage production props, a vintage lobby bar, private VIP opera boxes and a memorable grand staircase complete with a dramatic chandelier.
