Magazine Cover Party Has Criss Angel On Show & Entertainment Issue

On Friday, May 9 LAX Nightclub inside Luxor Hotel and Casino welcomed IN VEGAS Magazine as the esteemed publication celebrated the release of its Show & Entertainment issue hosted by celebrated magician Criss Angel. Arriving around 10:30 p.m., the renowned illusionist greeted media partners and VIP invitees inside the legendary Savile Row for an exclusive reception. His show Believe was honored with the award for “Best Magic Show” of 2013 at their IN VEGAS Awards celebration last November.

Making their way into the hot spot shortly after midnight, Angel and his guests were seated on the main stage as DJ Mike Bless had the entire room on their feet. The energy of the room was brought to life as the crowd danced to the best in open-format hits. Angel cheered with excitement and toasted to a magical evening as he happily paused to pose for pictures with eager fans. The talented magician spent the rest of the evening sipping cocktails and partying to the beats of LAX resident DJ Wellman.

Vegas Uncork'd Brought Out Who's Who Of Culinary World!

Food and drink lovers from around the world gathered last night for the culinary event of the year. Some of the finest chefs in the world put their talents on display at the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis at Caesars Palace for The Grand Tasting, the signature event of Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appétit. The 2,500 guests enjoyed a staggering variety of signature dishes prepared by more than 60 of the most celebrated chefs and over 40 Vintner selections.

Renowned chefs Gordon Ramsay, François Payard, Guy Savoy, Nobu Matsuhisa, Kerry Simon, Frankie Pellegrino Jr., Greg and Marc Sherry – and making her debut to The Grand Tasting – Giada De Laurentiis showcased their culinary talents by presenting some of their signature sampling dishes.

Gordon Ramsay represented all three of his Las Vegas restaurants: Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, Gordon Ramsay STEAK and Gordon Ramsay BurGR, while Bacchanal Buffet and Beijing Noodle No. 9, were also showcased at the Temple pool along with the newly announced restaurant to join the culinary line-up at Caesars Palace, MR CHOW. KGB: Kerry’s Gourmet Burgers at Harrah’s Las Vegas, Martorano’s at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar at The Quad Resort & Casino also presented their signature sample dishes during one of the largest Vegas Uncork’d events to date.

The Grand Tasting took place at the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis, the exquisite five-acre swimming oasis with eight distinctive pools and idyllic gardens, each offering a unique experience for guests.

The official Uncork’d after party took place at FIZZ Lounge where chefs and acclaimed editors of Bon Appétit joined guests for sparkling Champagne cocktails. FIZZ Lounge, the exclusive, brand-new club at Caesars Palace, boasts 1.2 mil of Elton John and his partner’s personal art collection. Last night was truly a treat for the eyes and the palate.

During the night, renowned chefs of Vegas Uncork’d signed an exclusive chef’s coat to raise funds in support of culinary legends. Buddy Valastro, Daniel Boulud, Francois Payard, Giada De Laurentiis, Gordon Ramsay, Guy Savoy, Joel Robuchon, Julian Serrano, Mario Batali, Michael Mina, Nobu Matsuhisa, Shawl McClain and Thomas Keller have joined forces to create these one-of-a-kind collector’s items in honor of Rock ‘n Roll Celebrity Chef Kerry Simon, a dear friend and colleague to so many in the culinary world who is fighting Multiple System Atrophy and Max Jacobson, who was injured in a severe car accident. The chef’s coat will be auctioned with proceeds donated to Keep Memory Alive in support of the Kerry Simon Multiple System Atrophy Center at Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health and to aid Max Jacobson’s recovery. The two sisters who clashed on Real Housewives of Miami put their differences behind and had a blast celebrating their birthdays in Las Vegas.  Joanna showed up in a leopard one piece with a black wrap around cover up. Nude pumps elevated her lovely legs.  Marta Krupa wore one of the hottest colors of spring a light almost electric green. She paired her look with nude wedges.  Both lovely ladies are highly supported by the blog as they do not believe in wearing fur or in any type of cosmetic testing on animals! As a matter of fact Joanna compared her sister Marta to Jennifer Lopez stating @jlowho? 'Younger talented hotter and doesn't torture animals for fur.' It is a well-known fact that Jennifer Lopez has no problem  with wearing real fur which is disgusting.

Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant and Nightclub at MGM Grand was filled with excitement last night as GRAMMY Award-winning country artist LeAnn Rimes and husband Eddie Cibrian were spotted enjoying an evening out at one of Vegas’ leading nighttime destinations, Saturday, May 10. In town to perform a gig earlier in the evening, the talented singer was joined by a number of close friends and family including her mother Belinda Butler Rimes and father Wilbur Rimes as they celebrated a successful show.

As their night began, the stunning couple was seen in good spirits as they arrived with their party to Hakkasan Restaurant around 11 p.m. Fully enjoying their time the group indulged on a number of Hakkasan’s signature dishes including Hakka steamed dim sum platter and pan-seared Shanghai dumplings while sipping on The Hakka - the destination’s most popular specialty cocktail. Laughing, taking photos with one another and engaging in conversation, the party made the most out of their dining experience before making their way up to the nightclub.

Nearing 1 a.m., the adoring pair and their guests arrived at the fourth level of the nightlife complex where they took their seats on the main stage. In awe of the energy from the main room, the group was filled with excitement as they took in the sights of the packed dance floor while rising DJ duo The Chainsmokers manned the decks and spun their chart-topping hit “#SELFIE.” As the evening went on and headlining artist Steve Aoki took over the turntables, Rimes and Cibrian were spotted dancing with one another and shared a romantic champagne toast. The group continued their celebratory evening before making their way out of the iconic nighttime destination around 3 a.m.

Michael Sam Celebrates NFL Draft Picks At TAO Vegas

Michael Sam, the first openly gay player drafted by the NFL, celebrated the occasion at TAO Nightclub in Las Vegas Saturday night. Drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh round, the defensive end from the University of Missouri was joined by boyfriend Vito Cammisano, who swam competitively for the school.

A group of ten, including his agent and friends were on hand as Sam was surprised by a presentation from the club and a shout out from DJ Vice. He spotted Richard Sherman of the NFL champion Seattle Seahawks at a neighboring table the two chatted for a few minutes.

Sam and Cammisano later headed to the DJ booth, where Vice stopped the music to introduce and congratulate the newly signed pro. The crowd cheered as they danced and waved when Vice asked “Do we have any Rams fans in the house?!” The couple returned to their table where they celebrated the historic day until 3 am.

The evening began with a reception in the bar and lounge before a ribbon cutting with Chef Daniel Boulud,  Chairman and CEO of Las Vegas Sands Corporation Sheldon Adelson, Dr. Miriam Adelson and other hotel and restaurant executives ceremoniously opened the main dining room. Following the ribbon cutting, guests mingled and enjoyed champagne and Dalmore signature cocktails while tasting a selection of items from the db Brasserie menu including signature dishes such as escargot spaetzle, Hamachi cru, grilled swordfish, Tunisian Lamb duo and spiced lamb flatbread among other creations.
