Friday night Kim Kardashian was spotted dining on LAVO’s expansive terrace overlooking the Strip.  In town for an appearance for her perfume, she was able to squeeze in a quick dinner at the Italian hot spot when her plane was delayed.  Kim and several friends enjoyed her favorite Beet Salad along with the Kobe Meatball. 

Later that night Lennox Lewis also dined at LAVO, fueling up before hosting LAVO’s pre-fight party in the nightclub.   Once upstairs the former pro boxer held court with ten friends at a VIP table in the club, enjoying Belvedere cocktails and Patron Silver Tequila while dancing to the sounds of special guest DJ Politik. 

At TAO, Swizz Beatz made his debut as the newest SKAM Artist DJ.  The crowd was ripe with anticipation as he took to the DJ booth at 1 am.  He didn’t disappoint, spinning, emceeing and performing for the packed club until 4 am.  Swizz, whose wife Alicia Keys is celebrating her first Mother’s Day since the birth of their son last year, made sure to shout out to all of the mothers in the crowd.  He treated club goers to his unreleased single, “Dance Like a White Girl,” telling the crowd that it means they should, “dance like they just don’t care.” 

Spotted taking in the scene from the dance floor were former NFL pro Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy as well as Christopher “Big Black” Boykin from MTV’s Rob & Big, who stopped by the DJ booth to say hello.  Cedric the Entertainer, Tracy McGrady of the Detroit Pistons, Derrick Ward of the Houston Texans, Brandon Jacobs of the New York Giants and sportswriter Jay Glazer were also enjoying the night in the club. 

Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul was seen in the club after enjoying a dinner of Peking Duck, Sea Bass and Sushi at TAO Asian Bistro.

Alaska's favorite political bad-boy, Levi Johnston, rung in his 21st birthday at Sugar Factory American Brasserie ( www.SugarFactory.com ) at Paris Las Vegas. Sitting with a large table of friends, the group dined on some delicious fare, such as turkey sliders, fried macaroni 'n' cheese pops and chicken skewers. The birthday boy's main event was an indulgent red velvet sundae adorned with sparklers. It wouldn't be a 21st birthday without the first legal cocktail, and this one-time Playgirl model, was all about the party, drinking Sugar Factory's signature Passion Punch and Lollipop Passion goblet-sized cocktails with his table of friends.

Afterwards, Johnston stopped into Sugar Factory's retail store, to scoop up some signature couture pops before heading upstairs to his official birthday celebration at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens.

Also spotted at Sugar Factory American Brasserie was co-star of the famed Harry Potter film franchise, Tom Felton. The actor and a group of friends feasted on ahi sliders, mussels, New York strip steak and pacific salmon. Felton stopped into the retail store to pick up some goodies including sour patch cherries and peach gummy penguins.

A few tables down, "Dawson's Creek" star, James Van Der Beek, dined with his wife, Kimberly. The couple enjoyed bruschetta, fried macarconi 'n' cheese pops, roasted chicken breast, shots of Patron and Sugar Factory's signature Lollipop Passion cocktail.

American short track speed skating competitor and eight-time Olympic medalist, Apolo Anton Ohno, stopped into Sugar Factory to check out the retail store where he posed with a signature couture pop.

"No Ordinary Family" star, Kay Panabaker, also stopped by the retail store to pick out some treats before heading up to Chateau Nightclub to celebrate her birthday.

Sugar Factory American Brasserie is an American take on a traditional French brasserie, serving delicious cuisine all day, and all night, along with an oversized retail store and signature Chocolate Lounge. Other Sugar Factory retail stores are located at The Mirage and Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.

On Friday, May 6 one of mainstream radio’s hottest names Mike Posner performed at WET REPUBLIC at MGM Grand and later that evening at PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace. The singer/songwriter began his day at the hottest Las Vegas pool party joining bikini clad beauties as he put on a sizzling performance that followed the second round of the SpyOnVegas.com Hot 100 weekly contest series.

Before kicking off the entertainment, the chart-topping artist hyped the crowd and brought them to their feet when he addressed them. “If you came here today to party,” said Posner, “I wanna hear you make some noise!”

Posner put on a full performance for his fans at the dayclub. At one point during his set, the Detroit native was handed a Redwings baseball cap from a fan that he willingly wore for most of his performance. With a confident stage presence, he easily convinced the Sin City partygoers to snap their fingers in synchronization, wave their arms and bounce up and down all together. Other great moments included when the fearless performer climbed on top of the DJ booth while singing the flirty tune “Bow Chicka Wow Wow” and then finishing by jumping into the crowd. After a sizzling set, and with the desert temperature rising, the humble artist couldn’t resist jumping into WET REPUBLIC’s spectacular 3,500 square feet saltwater pool. He spent the remainder of the day in there mingling and taking photos with his fans.

From daylife to nightlife the popular artist continued his Sin City experience by wrapping up his visit at Las Vegas’ hotspot, PURE Nightclub. Putting on another highly anticipated performance for the clubgoers the 23 year old began his encore set with "Please Don’t Go" one of his hit singles from his solo album 31 Minutes to Takeoff.  Reveling with his fans as he sang live inside the mega club, the dynamic artist held his microphone out into the crowd as the fans sang back a favorite “Cooler Than Me” effortlessly. Following his performance Posner and his friends made their way to their VIP cabana that was located atop of the nightclub on the Terrace. He and his entourage were seen drinking and dancing until the early hours of the morning as the enjoyed the fabulous Las Vegas warm weather.

Also seen partying at WET REPUBLIC that day was E! Entertainment’s Holly’s World star Laura Croft.

What a Great Idea! Gladys Knight gives tickets to teachers!!

Gladys Knight has just launched her “A Mic and A Light” show at the Tropicana Las Vegas and is giving 50 tickets away each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening to school teachers as a way of showing appreciation to these unsung heroes.

Through an arrangement with the Clark County School District, teachers (from selected schools each week) may obtain tickets from their principal to see Gladys Knight. “Education is so important and with all the budget cut news for teachers these days, I wanted to give them a night to enjoy themselves, know that we appreciate them and provide some good news,” said Ms. Knight. In addition to their tickets, teachers will also receive a voucher for 10 percent off their purchase in the Gladys Knight Boutique.

Gladys Knight’s children and grandchildren attended school in Clark County when they were young and she was actively involved in their schooling throughout their education.  She is a supporter of bringing better education opportunities to Las Vegas and giving our teachers the tools they need to get the job done and respect for the amazing jobs they do each day with students.

Chuy Bravo has GREAT Time in Vegas for Cinco De Mayo! At TAO!

Thursday night Chuy Bravo led the Cinco de Mayo celebrations at TAO’s Worship Thursday.  Chelsea Handler’s sidekick from the show Chelsea Lately hosted the Cinco de Chuy event and helped to judge the club’s Sexy Senorita contest. Chuy fueled up for the festivities with dinner at TAO Asian Bistro, sampling Potstickers, Sashimi and Sea Bass before heading up to the nightclub.  Once there, he climbed into the booth with DJ Five to get the crowd going.  He then took to the catwalk to help the crowd select the night’s sexiest senorita, awarding a $2000 prize to the winner.

Hugh M. Hefner Names Claire Sinclair Playboy Playmate of the Year 2011 at Palms Casino Resort

Playboy founder and legend Hugh M. Hefner, along with fiancée Crystal Harris and the 2010 Playboy Playmates, celebrated Playmate of the Year 2011 during a private cocktail reception in Moon Nightclub on Friday, May 6.  The highlight of the evening was when Hefner announced Claire Sinclair (Playboy Playmate October 2010) as the winner of Playmate of the Year 2011. 

Owner of Palms Casino Resort, George Maloof, shared a few words before introducing Hefner to the stage.  Guests in attendance included:  Playmate of the Year 2010 and contestant of the hit show, The Apprentice, Hope Dworaczyk; model, actress and TV personality from The Girls Next Door and Bridget’s Beaches, Bridget Marquardt; Playmate of the Year 2008 and TV personality from The Hills and Holly’s World, Jayde Nicole; Playboy Playmate January 2011 Anna Berglund; celebrity designers behind the label THE BLONDS and creators of Sinclair’s dress tonight, Phillipe and David Blond; and 2010 Playboy Playmates Jaime Edmondson (January 2010 and Amazing Race contestant), Kyra Milan (March 2010), Kassie Logsdon (May 2010), Katie Vernola (June 2010), Shanna McLaughlin (June 2010), Francesca Frigo (July 2010), Olivia Paige (September 2010) and Shera Bechard (November 2010).

As Playmate of the Year 2011, Sinclair received: $100,000 in prize money, a Harley-Davidson® 1200 Custom with H-D1™ factory customization and a collector's item, a one-of-a-kind set of Playboy Fragrances with Swarovski Elements.

David Cassidy also stopped by and posed for photos on the red carpet.

Earlier that afternoon, Hefner and his Playboy Playmates hosted the season premiere of the weekly pool party, Ditch Fridays at Palms Pool & Bungalows.  They enjoyed the scene from the privacy of a VIP cabana on stage.  Resident DJs E-Rock and Mark Stylz entertained partygoers by spinning their beats on the turntables.

Jamie Lynn Spears and Daughter dine out in Vegas! Where?

Jamie Lynn Spears had dinner with her daughter Maddie and some family and friends at Simon at Palms Place on Friday night. Chef Kerry Simon prepared the Big Eye Tuna for Jamie and the Mac n Cheese for Maddie.  

Earlier in the day she enjoyed some sun and pool time with Maddie at the Palms Place Hotel & Spa pool.
