The sitcom star is eager to remind the world that he can wield a microphone as easily as a power tool and safety goggles. Allen’s role in the ABC series “Home Improvement” catapulted him to fame following a successful stand-up comedy career. After a long run on “Home Improvement,” Allen launched a successful film career in the “Toy Story” franchise and Disney’s three “The Santa Clause” films.
