Santa Has Checked His List and It Calls For Beer Pong, Drinks, and Prizes

Who says being on the naughty list is all bad? McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino will reward all the sinister boys and girls with a “Bad Santa” party on Thursday, Dec. 16, from 10 p.m. until close.

This year Santa will deliver $5 32-ounce Big Ass Beers and $5 bombs. The misbehaved local ladies will drink free from 10 p.m. until 11 p.m. followed by a $10 open bar from 11 p.m. until close. The festivities will include “Santa’s Naughtiest Helper” contest with a cash prize awarded to the sexiest elf. The naughtiest boy and girl will get a toy straight from Bad Santa’s workshop. For those on the nice list, McFadden’s infamous beer pong tournament begins at 10 p.m.

McFadden’s presents nightly specials including: Laid Back Mondays, Ultimate Karaoke Tuesdays, Wasted Wednesdays, Beerfest Thursdays, Guest DJ Fridays and 'The Party' Open Bar Saturdays. McFadden’s gorgeous Lucky Charms and jovial Ministers of Hospitality ensure everyone has fun, whether they’re there to watch the game, throw back a few drinks, play beer pong, or simply enjoy a bite to eat. The 1st Annual X107.5 and UFC Fight Holiday Hunger event will be taking place on Wednesday and Thursday December 15th and 16th at Walmart on 7200 Arroyo Crossing Parkway Las Vegas , NV 89113 from 6:00AM-6:00PM both days. This event is in conjunction with the local non-profit, Three Square Food Bank and will benefit the nearly 250,000 Southern Nevadans currently struggling with hunger. We will be collecting canned soup, canned meats, canned beans, canned vegetables, canned entrees, rice, cereals, meal stretchers, pasta, peanut butter, tuna fish, etc. along with accepting cash and check donations.

Dave Farra and Jason “Mahoney” Gentry of the Dave and Mahoney Morning Show on X107.5 will be hosting the event along with broadcasting and collecting food from inside of an official UFC Octagon set up in front of Walmart. With special guests including UFC fighters and local and national celebrities we expect the Las Vegas community to fully embrace and support this incredibly worthy cause.

Three Square is the valley’s food hub; a central location where donated and rescued food can be collected and distributed. They provide bakery, produce, dairy, non-perishable products and ready-to-eat meals to non-profit and faith-based organizations. They also facilitate childhood and senior nutrition programs. Also in attendance, former Miss Nevada USA 2007 winner, Katie Rees, was celebrating a friend’s birthday.

Later in the night, magician Carl Michael hung out and performed a couple of tricks for the crowd.

With Chet Buchanan having already passed his goals for KLUC’s Annual Toy Drive, everyone was in good spirits—or shall we say, holiday spirits—as the giving still continued with visits from more MGM Resort entertainers today. Delivering the ninth van-ful of toys donated by more than 50,000 MGM Resorts International employees were Monte Carlo’s Jabbawockeez, Buyi Zama “Rafiki” from Disney’s THE LION KING at Mandalay Bay, cast members from KA at MGM Grand, and the face of New York-New York, Vinny.

The best part was the entertainers’ reactions as they opened the overflowing van and toys spilled out: Vinny provided a song-and-dance ta-da, performers from KA by Cirque du Soleil squealed in delighted “Cirque-speak”, and Buyi from THE LION KING giggled as she watched the Jabbawockeez try to catch the tumbling toys before they hit the ground. More than 1,000 bikes and a 30-foot-tall platform set the stage for some playful unloading.

From atop his own “Pride Rock,” Chet chatted with Buyi as they watched Jabbawockeez zip around on bikes not quite their size (hence the streamers on the handlebars). KLUC DJ Bojo got into an impromptu dance-off with the KA performers and, as he said it on-air, “got served.”

Through the KLUC Toy Drive alone, more than 10,000 struggling families will receive toys at the HELP of Southern Nevada toy pantry. MGM Resorts employees are going beyond simply donating toys with Mandalay Bay and Excalibur staff donating their time as volunteers at the toy pantry. MGM Resorts International increases their charitable efforts during the holidays to benefit struggling community members when they need it most. It’s just one small part of the corporation’s total philanthropic efforts. The MGM Resorts Foundation, supported by dollars from employee salaries, has raised $4.8 million for the community this year alone.
