McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino will throw one big birthday party for everyone born in the month of November on Saturday, November 20.

 

All November birthdays will drink free from 10 p.m. until midnight, and for all the party animals, a pre-game open bar will start at 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. for just $10.  Friends and family may partake in the drinking fun with an open bar from 10 p.m. until midnight, priced at $10 for ladies and $20 for guys. Everyone still standing by the end of the night can enjoy $3 drinks from midnight until close.  

McFadden’s presents nightly specials including: Laid Back Mondays, Ultimate Karaoke Tuesdays, Wasted Wednesdays, Beerfest Thursdays, Guest DJ Fridays and 'The Party' Open Bar Saturdays. McFadden’s gorgeous Lucky Charms and jovial Ministers of Hospitality ensure everyone has fun, whether they’re there to watch the game, throw back a few drinks, play beer pong, or simply enjoy a bite to eat. What's going on at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway? Las Vegas Bracket Nationals!

Discounted advance-entry deadline is Nov. 19; Land Shark Race Cars bonus added

Only a few days remain for racers to take advantage of a savings of $100 by entering the Nov. 24-28 Las Vegas Bracket Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Advance-entry prices apply for anyone entering the event prior to Friday, Nov. 19. After Nov. 20, all racer entry fees increase by $100. Entry forms must be received at The Strip at LVMS’s office by 5 p.m. on Nov.19. to be eligible for the advance-entry discount.

All drag racers who pre-register to the Thanksgiving Weekend event also will receive a free ticket to the Friday, Nov. 26 opening night of the inaugural Sprint Car Super Nationals at the Dirt Track at LVMS. The event is the season championship race for the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters.

Jeff Strunk’s Land Shark Race Cars will post a $500 cash bonus to the overall Super Pro points champion. Drivers will earn points for each round won over the four days of racing. The racer with the highest score will win $500 cash, a championship trophy and a champion's jacket from Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Drivers who pre-register for entry into the event by the November 19, 2010 deadline will save $100 off of the overall weekend entry. Classes to be contested in 2010 include Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Motorcycle. The event will also feature the popular Ultimate Gambler event on Saturday, November 27 as well as the Geezer Gambler for drivers 55 and over on Wednesday, November 24.

All drag racers who pre-register to the event will also receive a free ticket to the Friday, November 26 opening night of the first annual Sprint Car Super Nationals, the season championship event for the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters.

Saturday’s program features the famous Ultimate Gambler race. Entry fee is $1,000 per car and the purse is winner-take all with a 100% payback.

Season of Hope arrives at The Village Lake Las Vegas! A week-end of holiday spirit!

Get in the holiday spirit with The Village Lake Las Vegas at the “Season of Hope” weekend celebration

The Village Lake Las Vegas will set the mood this holiday season with a full weekend of festive events. Get in the holiday spirit at the annual tree lighting ceremony featuring strolling carolers, Santa and Mrs. Claus, games, raffles and much more. A songwriter showcase on Saturday will feature local artists keeping the energy flowing throughout the day with holiday favorites.

Contemporary Christian singer/songwriter Annie Meadows will make a special appearance to perform an intimate concert during the tree lighting. Guests can also enjoy ice skating on the lake’s floating rink or wandering through the art festival enjoying creative pieces from local talent.

The Village has partnered with Operation Christmas Child in order to collect gifts for needy children around the world. Guests are invited to pack a shoebox with items including school supplies, small toys, hygiene items and candy.

On Sunday afternoon, guests can enjoy live music lakeside at the Fall for Faith Worship Rock Show featuring The Offering, Aaron Hefman and Atlas Takes Aim.
