LAX Nightclub inside the Luxor was the hot spot last night, as hundreds of fans gathered around and waited for Latin sensation Enrique Iglesias to arrive. Supporters of the award-winning artist were out in full force as they displayed their appreciation for him by patiently waiting for the star by standing in the long line to get inside the club or camped out near the red carpet. In town for the 11th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, the singer-songwriter stopped by the popular nightclub following the long awards show to let loose.

Just after 11 pm, Enrique Iglesias, dressed very casual in jeans, a hoodie and baseball cap was seen being escorted by his large security team, followed by his entourage over to LAX Nightclub. As he approached the red carpet, he quickly changed his route and decided to skip the carpet and went straight inside the club.

Inside LAX Nightclub, Enrique was immediately welcomed with a mind-blowing roar from the excited crowed. Overwhelmed by the sea of fans, he briefly stopped to wave to everyone and welcome them to his party. Enrique then headed to the main stage, where he and his friends got situated. The group was seated in the mega club’s VIP area, center of attention and surrounded by hundreds of admirers. Known for liking his privacy, Iglesias broke out of his shell and went over to personally greet a few of his fans and took pictures with them. He spent the rest of the evening taking in the atmosphere of the Vegas club scene while sipping on cocktails.

Iglesias’ girlfriend of nearly 10 years, former tennis star and model, Anna Kournikova was not present.

Denny Hamlin was spotted celebrating the 5th anniversary of TAO’s Worship Thursday last night. The race car driver, who is currently in first place in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series, stuck to water and mentioned having to catch an 8 am flight for a 10 am race in Arizona.

 Jeff Brinkman brings his melodic and soulful style to the Silverton Casino Lodge on Friday, November 26, 2010, at 8 p.m.

Brinkman’s inspiration for music came from listening to his father play guitar as he fell asleep at a very young age. By the time he was 14, he was beginning to write his own songs and create his own inspiring style. Over the years his talent developed into a melodic blend of soul that captured audience’s attention with a calming yet touching ease. His lyrics cut to the core of the listeners’ inner thoughts and inspire them to relate the music to their own lives.

After leaving is hometown in Iowa, Brinkman landed in Colorado where his music career took off. His debut album To the Bones was released earlier this year and quickly landed him a spot on the Colorado Top 40 charts released by the Rocky Mountain Music Network.

Chart-topping rockers The Association, with hit songs among the most played on the radio in the 20th century, will perform for two nights at the Suncoast Showroom, November 13 and 14, each evening at 7:30 p.m.

The Association released its first album, And Then…Along Comes The Association, spawning two hit singles “Along Comes Mary” and “Cherish.” The next year in 1967 the group released two albums, Renaissance and Insight Out, the latter of which produced two No. 1 tunes, “Windy” and “Never My Love.” The group continued recording through the remainder of the 60s and into the early 70s, album titles including Birthday; Goodbye, Columbus and Stop Your Motor, among others.

Formed in the mid-60s, The Association has sold more than 80 million albums and singles, earning six gold and two platinum designations. The group has received seven Grammy® nominations and in 1967 were nominated for the Golden Globe® Award for Best Original Music in the film “Goodbye, Columbus.”

The Association appeared and performed in all of the major variety programs of the 60s such as The Ed Sullivan Show, The Smothers Brothers, American Bandstand, Hullabaloo, The Andy Williams Show and The Dean Martin Show, among others. Their music remained popular on television and in film in the 80s, 90s and today, setting the mood in titles such as The Wonder Years, The Sweetest Thing, Six Feet Under, Crossing Jordan and Life on Mars.
