Saturday night, Platinum Recording Artist Drake completed his Light Dreams and Nightmares U.S. Tour and headed immediately to Tryst Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas to celebrate with an entourage of celebrity friends. The breakout hip-hop star walked the black carpet with a rush of screaming fans vying for just a return glance and pushing to get inches closer. He walked past the line, shaking hands and greeting guests, before posing on the carpet and telling media, "I'm celebrating the end of my tour, the Light Dreams & Nightmares tour, and what better way to do it than party?"
He also shared that he's planning a break from the stage, citing he's been overworked, and is looking forward to getting back to Toronto to spend time with his family before traveling the world for fun, rather than to perform. Although, he might not be away from the studio for long... He mentioned the recent release of his idol Lil Wayne, and when asked if planning to work together soon, he grinned and said, "Whenever he's ready... Whenever he says the word, I'm there."
Drake, impressively collaborating with some of the biggest names in music early in his career, also has a hit song out with Rihanna right now titled "What's My Name?". When asked how it was working with the songstress, he noted, "It's always great. You know, I love her very much. She's a great person... Great person in my life.. To have a record that's out and so close to going #1, it's an honor."
As for goals for the upcoming year he said he hopes to just get better at rapping and singing, and of course "make people happy."
Drake noted this was his first time really partying in Las Vegas , and he chose to do it at the premier nightlife venue, surrounded by celebrity friends including boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, NFL players Javon Walker and Steven Jackson, MTV reporter Sway, Jas Prince, Young Money rapper Tyga, Holly Madison and Laura Croft.
Once inside he was quickly escorted to the owner's table, the premier location to see-and-be-seen overlooking the dance floor, where fans had their cell phones in the air, fighting for a single shot of the young superstar. Drake grabbed the mic, welcoming the crowd, thanking everyone for coming out, and saying, "You never know who's going to show up!" His DJ, Future Prince, then broke into Drake's current hit with Rihanna with the crowd erupting in excitement.
Drake stood the majority of the night, sipping on champagne, dancing with friends and looking over the sea of worshippers that erupted every time one of his hits blasted out from the DJ booth. The crowd also went wild when Cali Swag District's "Teach Me How to Dougie" came across the speakers, with Drake joining one of his friends in performing the moves that made the hit dance song a sensation.
E! reality star and Las Vegas performer Holly Madison walked the carpet saying everyone she knows is a fan of Drake and she was excited to come out to see what he was all about. She and Holly's World co-star Laura Croft later exchanged the Twitter conversation:
@lauracroft83: I've never witnessed something so crazy as the crowd response to Drake at Tryst. @hollymadison123: Never seen anything like it

TAO turned FIVE..and look who was there! Celebs everywhere!

Celebs made their way to Las Vegas to help the famed TAO restaurant and nightclub celebrate 5 years of success. The party started early on Friday at LAVO, as Brother’s & Sister’s actress Sarah Jane Morris along with her husband Ned Bower from the band Rooney enjoyed dinner and their first vacation away from their son who was born earlier this year. Also dining at the Italian eatery was Kelly Bensimon of The Real Housewives of New York, who enjoyed Mojitos and the ever popular Kobe Meatball. Comedian David Spade dined at TAO before his show at The Venetian and stopped by LAVO later in the night to say hello to the TAO Group partners. Christina Milian headed straight to the nightclub at LAVO where she danced on the banquette with two girlfriends.
The main event was Saturday as notable names flocked to TAO to celebrate the anniversary and the night kicked off with breaking news of a celebrity engagement! Fans clamored for a glimpse of Dancing With the Stars favorite Karina Smirnoff, who shimmered in a sequin Marc Bouwer sheath that the designer tailor-made for her specifically for her weekend in Vegas with girlfriends. Smirnoff finally revealed the secret that she’s been keeping when she flashed the bling on her left hand to a cheering crowd—she’s engaged!
“I said thank you before I said yes,” Smirnoff said of the moment beau Brad Penny, star pitcher of the St. Louis Cardinals, got down on bended knee and asked her to be his wife. “He planned it very well and this is actually the first time I’m even talking about it.” The blushing bride-to-be admitted she hasn’t started thinking about wedding plans, but there’s one thing she’s sure of: “I’m going to keep Smirnoff as my last name.” And although Penny couldn’t make it to celebrate the night’s festivities, he sent his bride to be a token of his love in the form of an Everlon Knot Collection diamond necklace that he had delivered to her inside TAO’s signature fortune cookie dessert.
The party was a dual occasion for some celebrating their birthdays early, with Jack Osbourne, who will turn 25 on November 8th and Brittny Gastineau who turns 28 on the 11th both blowing out candles. Osbourne was joined by Sarah McNeilly while Gastineau gathered with her mom Lisa and a group of girlfriends.
Notables spotted dining at TAO before hitting the club included Olympian Michael Phelps, Ryan Eggold of 90210, David Spade, Ashley Hamilton, who appeared on season 9 of Dancing with the Stars, Sean Stewart and Jurnee Smollett from the new TV show The Defenders. Rhys Wakefield, the Australian actor best known for his role in the long running TV series Home and Away was also on hand, as was Cody Longo, who appeared in the remake of FAME and Adam Rose from the movie Up In The Air. Former White Sox MVP Frank Thomas was spotted with the girls of BelleVoxx, the pop trio he manages.
Kelly Bensimon, who lunched at Dos Caminos and Christina Milian also joined in night two of the celebration while Brandi Glanville was spotted hanging with friends Ashley Hamilton and Sean Stewart and dancing with a group of girlfriends on the catwalk.
Many of the celebs on hand congratulated Smirnoff as they celebrated her engagement and TAO’s anniversary upstairs in the packed nightclub, where models in body paint and a contortionist act welcomed guests at the door and dancers took the main stage to keep the high energy flowing. “I am happy for Karina and wish her the best!” Bensimon said. Osbourne joked, “She should get a prenup! I’m definitely going to get one when I get married.”
The crescendo of the night came when the TAO Group partners were presented with a human cake and a celebration cake congratulating them on five years of success. Bottle after bottle of Champagne was delivered via zip line to the tables on the dance floor, while performers twisted in cages and around poles on the center catwalk. As always, DJ Vice provided an amazing soundtrack for the night, keeping the party going well into the wee hours of the morning.
Over at LAVO Erik Estrada dined with his wife and kids, enjoying Spaghetti and Meatballs, Sea Bass and more. Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice was spotted dining at LAVO, as was Frank Thomas.

National Nacho Day! Go get your Sexy B*itch Nachos at Hussong's - Courtesy of Laura Croft!
Saturday, November 6th is National Nacho Day and to celebrate cast members from Holly’s World on E! competed in a nacho building contest at Hussong’s Cantina on Thursday. Starting on Saturday the winning entry will be served all month long. Playmate Laura Croft and Angel Porrino from the hit E! Show competed against Tito Martinez, band leader for Hussong’s Rock n Roll Mariachis. The contestants assembled their creation from more than 60 ingredients ranging from specialty chips, beans, cheeses, creams and proteins and toppings.
As the mariachis played Angel, Laura and Tito set to work. Angel immediately set herself apart from her competitors, choosing to make dessert nachos with cinnamon chips, chocolate, marshmallows, sprinkles and more, while Laura and Tito went a more traditional route. When the dishes were ready Hussong’s Executive Chef Noe Alcala baked each entry for a few minutes and then presented the nacho dishes to the judges who graded the contestants on originality, presentation and taste.
Laura took first place with her entry, which she named Sexy B*tch Nachos. The winning entry featured a variety of cheeses over blue corn and Hussong’s house chips along with jalapeno, avocado, sweet corn, and chipotle sour creams and topped with jalapenos. The judges called her entry “very hearty,” and “classic”. Coming in second were Angel’s Candy Ass Nacho’s, which the judges deemed “innovative and a delight for dessert lovers”. Taking third were Tito’s Mariachi Nachos which highlighted chorizo as a primary ingredient.
Sexy B*tch Nachos will be served all month long for $13 at Hussong’s Cantina inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place.
