Cast Members from Holly’s World & Peepshow Battle it Out at Hussong’s Cantina on Thursday November 4 to Build the Best Nachos! The Winning Nacho Recipe Will Be Served All Month Starting on National Nacho Day on November 6.

Peepshow’s Josh Strickland along with his “Holly’s World” cast mates Angel Porrino and Laura Croft will go nacho-to-nacho at Hussong’s Cantina on Thursday, November 4 to see who can create the most tasty creation of this favorite Mexican dish. The winner, who will be selected by a panel of media experts, will have their recipe served on the Hussong’s Cantina menu throughout the month of November starting Saturday, November 6 in honor of National Nacho Day.

The Gay and Lesbian Community Center proudly announces its 16th Annual Honorarium at Caesars Palace.  November 5, 2010, The Center will “Celebrate Community—Give Where You Live” by recognizing individuals from Southern Nevada who have distinguished themselves as leaders through their commitment to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender community by giving of their time, talents or resources during the past year. The 2010 honorees include: Roger Thomas, Man of the Year; Gwen Migita, Woman of the Year; Jane Heenan, Equality Award Recipient; and Arlene Cooper, Volunteer of the Year.

Guests will be entertained with swanky sounds and go-go dancers in a stylish, ultra-lounge atmosphere on par with the best of Las Vegas' nightlife all for a charitable cause. A silent auction and VIP reception will precede the main event. Food stations will be positioned around the perimeter to offer a variety of enticing edibles for enjoyment all night.

Commencing in 1994, at the annual Honorarium, The Center has honored those individuals, companies and organizations that make equality for the LGBT community their cause, passion and commitment.

Two for one special for LOCALS at The Improv at Harrah's!

The Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas! This Week’s Headliner! Special two-for-one tickets available to locals


Budd Friedman and Mark Lonow's world-famous Improv Comedy Club at Harrah's Las Vegas showcases a different marquee of acts each week. Jim Short takes the stage tomorrow through Sunday, with supporting acts Jeff Burghart and Sam Fedele. Improv shows are at 8:30pm and 10:30pm every Tuesday through Sunday. Tickets are $29.05 (plus applicable taxes) or $44.95 (plus applicable taxes) for VIP tickets that include special seating and an Improv t-shirt. A native of Australia, Short headlines shows across the nation with an act comprised of a mix of personal observations on pop and social culture, world media and history, and television and music references. He has appeared on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Comedy Central's Premium Blend and A& E’s Comedy on the Road.

Golden Rainbow's BIG Halloween Party!! GO Chris Saldana! All for a great cause!

Las Vegas based HIV/AIDS charity Golden Rainbow hosted the 44th annual Beaux Arts Ball, a Halloween celebration with custom production numbers, costume contests and a thrilling party atmosphere at Studio 54 at MGM Grand on Sunday, Oct. 31. The fundraising event served as the grand finale to Studio 54’s legendary “Nightmare on 54th Street” and was hosted by Zumanity’s Mistress of Sensuality Edie and local TV anchor Chris Saldana. Prizes were awarded for “Sexiest,” “Best Drag” and “Most Original” costumes. Proceeds from the 44th Annual Beaux Arts Ball support Golden Rainbow’s continued mission of providing assistance to those fighting HIV / AIDS throughout Southern Nevada.

Golden Rainbow provides housing and direct financial assistance to men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in southern Nevada while also supporting HIV/AIDS related education.  For more information, visit www.goldenrainbow.org.

MTV’s “Daddy’s Girls” star Angela Simmons (sans costume) partied all night with her gal pals at Vanity and also enjoyed the comfort of a suite in HRH Tower.

Playboy’s November cover girl, Arianny Celeste, dressed as a scary Little Red Riding Hood and accompanied by a Big Bad Wolf, celebrated Halloween at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. After dinner at AGO, the pair hit up Vanity where they danced the night away. Arianny was overheard saying she wouldn’t want to miss Halloween at the Hard Rock because it’s the best!
