Eva Longoria Parker Unveils Madame Tussauds Wax Figure at Eve Nightclub in CityCenterLas Vegas!!
Madame Tussauds Las Vegas presented Eva Longoria Parker with a $300,000 wax figure replica last night at her nightclub, Eve, in Crystals at CityCenter Las Vegas. Longoria Parker was joined by her husband, Tony Parker, and parents, Ella and Enrique Longoria. The Hollywood starlet was chosen to be inducted into Madame Tussauds Las Vegas during National Hispanic Heritage Month, where she was honored for her outstanding success and philanthropic efforts. The statue is now on display at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.
Longoria Parker expressed her excitement right before Madame Tussauds’ signature kabuki drop, revealing the figure. She was surprised and stunned at the resemblance, commenting immediately, “That’s my butt!” In awe, Longoria Parker approached her figure, asking if she could touch herself. “It’s kinda freaky!” she exclaimed of the spot-on similarities, “they even have my crooked teeth!” Posing alongside the figure, Longoria Parker mimicked the figure’s exact pose and checked out her own signature Christian Louboutin black pumps. Posing alongside his two leading ladies, Parker was equally amazed at the precise resemblance.
Longoria Parker commented on the figure’s gown, an original one-shoulder Carolina Herrera dress that she wore to the Alma Awards in 2008. The figure also donned her wedding band, adorned with two rows of 80 brilliant-cut diamonds separated by a row of 27 square-cut diamonds.
Following the private reveal, Longoria Parker dined at her steakhouse, Beso, also located in Crystals at CityCenter, directly beneath her nightclub. She was joined by her husband, parents, sister and friends. Longoria Parker sipped Beso’s pear and elderflower sangria and enjoyed her signature guacamole and tortilla soup, both of which are family recipes. After dinner Longoria Parker hosted Eve’s industry night where she unveiled the Madame Tussauds statue a second time, to the public. Joined by her husband and friends, Longoria Parker spent the evening dancing in Eve’s VIP section.

Build your own burger! Does it or can it possibly get any better? At KGB’s (Kerry Simon’s Gourmet Burger’s) at Harrah’s the possibilities are endless! What would I recommend? Start off your meal with the Waffle Fry Nachos! Crispy waffle potatoes with thick tasty cheddar cheese, jalapenos and surprise..sloppy joe mix which is made from BBQ Short ribs. More than enough for the entire table to share! Want a surprise? Try the Cheeseburger Soup! A rich warm hearty leek soup with bacon and crunchy cheese croutons…how to describe? Comfort food that is truly satisfying in a bowl!
The second best part of a meal at KGB’s? Building your own burger! I started off my burger with BEEF! A juicy natural Angus Beef Burger then served on Iceberg Lettuce. There are however several bun options available. TOPPERS..yes please! Added to this was Gruyere Cheese, Organic Mountain Gorgonzola, thick hearty slices of Applewood Bacon, topped off with mayo. More than a mouthful and the burger was cooked perfectly as requested..medium rare! The varieties that you can add to your burger include a fried egg, wild mushrooms, popcorn shrimp, avocado, caramelized onions and more! Condiment toppings are mayo, spicy mustard, Russian dressing to name a few and are priced right at .50¢ each. We split the order of Sweet Potato tots with ranch dressing. Did not think that you could improve on Tater Tots but KGB did! Crunchy and sweet they are good with either ranch dressing or ketchup. Salads are also an option.
Dessert was a much anticipated event! After seeing the Captain Crunch shake on the menu and my favorite cereal in the world being Captain Crunch, well that was a forgone conclusion! However once again KGB offered a great solution! The trio sampler! Since my fellow diner was also looking forward to the Captain Crunch Shake we each had one and split the Double Chocolate Malt shake. Since it was lunch…sigh…no chance to try the specialty cocktails offered. A full bar menu is available.
KGB is open 11am – 11pm weekdays and 11am – 2am weekends and is located on the World Famous Las Vegas strip in Harrah’s Casino. In the restaurant are TV’s for sports viewing AND the food is prepared from responsibly raised meats and market fresh produce. The pricing is great! We had two appetizers, ice teas, burgers and a side and dessert and the bill was approximately $40. Not bad for a gourmet lunch inside a hip vibrant setting all designed by Iron Chef Winner Kerry Simon! So go and enjoy!
