Please join the Betty Board members from noon to 4 pm for our Annual National Coming Out Day Picnic at Lone Mountain Park, located at 4445 N. Jensen at the very end of west Craig Road (at the base of Lone Mountain). BOA will provide hotdogs and hamburgers, buns, condiments and water while supplies last. Our picnics are typically one of our most popular events of the year and this one will certainly be no exception. We hope to see about 200 Bettys turn out for an afternoon of kite flying, Frisbee, GIANT volleyball and relaxing. Plus, by popular demand, we'll be playing Human Bingo again and we'll have a raffle with some awesome prizes. This is event is FREE! Please bring a dish to share and whatever you want to drink. Friendly dogs welcome!

KOMP 92.3 FM will begin live broadcasts from the block party at 3 p.m. and continue throughout the evening. Great hits will be played as anthems to the festivities and giveaways will keep the energy up all night. Games of beer pong and corn hole will be set up for play while guests enjoy the German celebration. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older.

Where was the "Funky Cold Medina" Going down??

This past week LAVO hosted the official prom after-party with Tone Loc taking club goers back to the 90’s.  Around 1:15 am the rapper surprised the crowd with an impromptu performance of his hits “Wild Thing” and Funky Cold Medina.”  When not entertaining the crowd he took over a VIP table stocked with Grey Goose and Patron, and even ventured onto the dance floor.

Earlier in the night Tone Loc dined at LAVO with friends, enjoying Spaghetti, Kobe Meatballs and Seafood Linguini.

Celebs are always spotted...WHERE and WHO??

Wednesday night Brian Vickers was spotted at LAVO.  The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver arrived around midnight, ordering Ketel One, Patron Silver and Ty-Ku to enjoy with his friends.  They took in the Label Junkie fashion show hosted by Sex Kitten and stayed until after 2:30 am listening to the sounds of DJ Five.

Chazz Palminteri was spotted taking in the scene at TAO’s Worship Thursday.  The actor and star of the one-man show The Bronx Tale stuck to water.  Nearby by comedian Carrot Top drank Crown Royal on the rocks while enjoying the sounds of guest DJ Calvin Harris with friends.
